I will be sending this back. Wish I had read reviews more thoroughly before purchase. This is advertised as both fireproof and waterproof but if you click on the "see more details" link, it clearly states it is NOT waterproof or even water resistant. Two holes in the back to mount it to the wall, plus two holes in the bottom to secure it to the floor negates any water or fireproof properties, especially since I plan to do neither. The door is not sealed, either. We want a safe for storing old photographs and negatives. They are valuable only to us, and we want to protect from a fire. Waterproof would help if we did have a fire and water from efforts to put it out could get in the safe. I think the ad is misleading, and I received no response from the email I sent to the address on the "manual". Other than the door, the safe is built with light sheet metal. The door is heavy and feels secure, other than the lack of the seal previously mentioned. ... show more

Nice safe double door good. For the value, I appreciate that it had a hole in the back where I can pass the wire, IN THE BACK and put a camera inside. So if someone opens the door, it can video them and take their picture immediately, notify me that my safe has been opened. I appreciate that. I know the hole was placed on the back for mounting to the wall. But I used it for other purposes. I appreciate it. Thank you. ... show more
