What a better year to buy a standup Buddy the Elf than this year, the 20th Anniversary of the movie release?! Our Buddy arrived on time. His knee was a little scuffed up (the cardboard was a little wrinkled in the fold, but we figured his knee got banged up going through the Candy Cane Forest and the Lincoln Tunnel). Even with this slight imperfection, he will serve our Yule Tide needs this year. Even with the scuffed knee, I still give this product a full 5 stars! ... show more

Ordered this because my whole family (3 adult kids) loves Elf, and I had THE BEST time putting this thing in various places around the house to scare them to death!! (In their bathroom, closet, etc.) Got them every time!! Then when the fun was over we put him in a back window for neighborhood kids to enjoy! I bought this to scare my wife. I waited until she was asleep and put it in the bathroom. In the morning she turned on the light to the bathroom and freaked out. It was awesome! She almost divorced me right there. Her friends thought it was funny.

I've bought a few life-size standups over the past few decades. This one falls a bit... short... in more ways than one. - Most standees I've bought are a bit glossy, which makes the colors more vibrant and richer. This one is matte, like a regular picture printed on regular paper, not 'photograph picture' quality. - Will Ferrell is 6'-3", and this cut-out is 5'-7"... even if you account for the posture this is a bit short. It is not too noticeable, but it takes a bit of the joke about the large Will Ferrell being an elf. Overall I like it and will bring it out yearly but... the overall presentation is a bit lackluster. ... show more
