    • Better quality than the typical containers out there
I began purchasing water in bulk from a local supplier and needed not only a good container for filling and transporting the water, but also for dispensing. My biggest concern was leaking. I did NOT want any drips or leaks flooding our pantry. I was prepared to pay a little extra for quality and was not interested in going cheap on something that is supposed to contain water without letting it out while I’m asleep or away. So far this container has performed well. It feels solid. The plastic body is somewhat thick. It doesn’t feel like a thin water bottle or bladder. The lid on top is heavy thick plastic that twists on tightly and securely. Lastly the spout uses a knob you turn instead of a lever you press. The spout on these containers is likely the weakest link so I was happy to see how sturdy this spigot was. Once closed it may still drip for a second or two as the last few drops of water exit the spout, but once the water stops, it stops. I haven’t had a single drop leak out. ... show more

We use these on our small boat for our potable water. I've had several similar ones over the years. These are by far superior. They are heavy duty plastic, not flimsy like most others. The vent very convenient and it seals completely when closed. We store the on their sides and the vent doesn't leak. The valve for dispensing water is great and a much better design than found on other similar containers. It's very easy to control the flow rate and seals well. Highly recommended! ... show more

    • Good buy with a caveat.
I like this jug, but it has its drawbacks. First, the placement of the spout is so high, it's impossible to completely drain the jug. Second, the spout control is not ideal. Maybe it's because we are used to an on/off lever that quickly shuts off the water flow, but we have had more spills with this one. It's a standard righty-tighty, lefty-loosey twist-knob, which does provide a variable flow speed, which is nice, I suppose. But when the item being filled suddenly reaches full, the extra time it takes to close the valve has been problematic. But, it seems much sturdier than previous jugs we've had, and it has a nicer appearance on our counter. Overall, it was a good value. It works well as designed, and mostly meets our needs. Plus, it came with a cleaning sponge-wand and a spout extender, both of which are pretty useful. Might buy again depending on options & costs of competitors at the time. ... show more

The container meets out needs. We travel a lot and take our own well water with us. The container is easy to carry, the spigot does not leak, the lid screws on and does not leak when standing upright. It is easy to set on a counter top out of the way. Spigot works perfectly for pouring drinks. It's been in and out of a few hotel rooms and Airbnb's, has a couple thousand road miles on it and is as good of one for the price I've used. Nicely made water container with spigot & nice top pop out button so that air flows to get you a good stream of water. Also a really nice knob to turn clockwise and counter clockwise to open & close the water flow depending on how fast you want the water to come out. *****love this container!
