Make no mistake... this light fixture literally is the size of a large pizza (16") so make sure its proportion visually fits your intended space in terms of size and brightness since it's not dimmable. While not unattractive, it won't enhance the look of a room like fancier fixtures with brushed nickel frames, glass shades, or other accents. But if you're looking for a practical low-profile light, this is a decent choice given the brightness and ability to change color temperatures. It would be even better if that could be performed without taking down the light (the selector switch is hidden on the back plate), but still a great feature since the difference from 3000k to 6000k is dramatic. Each fixture weighs next to nothing, and seems to be of adequate quality. No need for wire nuts since there are clamps to insert the hot and neutral wires, but there isn't a ground connector. I'm planning on placing these in an unfinished basement since they will light up the space better than individual bare bulbs, plus look more aesthetic. ... show more

I'm using this outside for an overnight security light that is controlled by a timer and it's working just fine. The light is very bright and has taken the place of an old chandelier. Recommend if light is needed.

ok so yes they are nearly 16" in diameter. And they draw 32W, and are rated at a whopping 3480LM. They compare this to a 150W fixture but those specs are equivalent to 3 x 75W incandescent lamps! What? Oh, old-fashioned hot light bulbs. If the light was dimmable I'd really be in love, but you CAN choose the color temp. So if it warms you up to have REALLY bright light to just turn on when you flip the switch then these may be for you. ... show more

This 2 Pack 15.8 Inch LED Flush Mount Ceiling Light is well-made. The choice of color temperature is very desirable and is controlled by a small switch on the back side of the light fixture. I used to prefer adjusting the color by quickly turning the light off and on, but I have since changed my mind and prefer this method. Too many accidental light color changes with the wall switch method. The fixtures are lightweight and super easy to install. The installation is the same whether replacing an existing fixture or having a new electrical ceiling box, and they are compatible with most types of junction boxes. With these LED fixtures, you get a lot of light for only 32 Watts. You would need about 150 Watts or more to get the equivalent lumens from fluorescent or incandescent fixtures. In case you are unaware, a new law will do away with incandescent light bulbs in the U.S. in 2023. I have been replacing all the light fixtures in our home, and these two will complete the change. I appreciate the modern minimalist style. At less than one inch, it has a shallow profile. The illumination is very even and not harsh, meaning it’s easy on the eyes. Another huge advantage is that you won’t need to remove the fixture to clean out the dead flying insects that plague most other light fixtures. An IP42 rating means they can be used in damp environments and are protected from direct water sprays (low pressure). Conclusion: LED lighting uses far less energy than the alternatives, which are economical because of their longevity. Fixtures like these should last until the next innovation in illumination comes along. Over the past year, I have been replacing all my light fixtures and bulbs with LEDs and using less electricity. These fixtures allow you to tailor the color temperature to your liking. You might find different rooms need different colored light, and these offer that ability. Finally had a chance to change our hallway lights with this LED ceiling mount light. The hanging plate fits perfectly in the junction box. Very easy to install. All I did was to make sure remove the old light, install the hanging plate, connect the two wires, and attached the hanging light to the plate. Three colors to choose from is a plus. It would have been nicer if the light is dimmable. All in all I highly recommend. ... show more
