Thick fleece and very warm! But, it arrived in airtight bag and the wrinkles won't wash out. I bought the top too, and have the same problem. Amazon needs to stop treating fabric like this. So many clothes I've bought I can't return due to tags off and washing with hopes of removing wrinkles. I'll wear them because it's cold, but not in public too much.
