Features

  • Need Ballast Removal. 2pcs/lot, sample pack. with Base depth is 15.5mm/0.6 inches. Short version 4pins,Suitable for G24Q-1, G24Q-2.G24Q-3, GX24q-1,GX24q-2,GX24q-3 socket;
  • NOT FOR DIY!!! NEED REWIRING! Removing or Bypassing the ballast INSIDE the light fixture is REQUIRED. CONSULT AN ELECTRICIAN IF YOU ARE UNSURE. DO NOT OPERATE THE LED BULB WITH BALLAST IN THE FIXTURE. DOING SO WILL LIKELY DAMAGE THE BULB.
  • Physically Change the socket contact, twist into existing GX24Q socket and transform the fixture to fit any standard E26 E27 medium size bulb. BUT mostly GX24Q CFLs are with an electronic ballast inside, which will cause the LED bulb flickering, burnt, hot or smell, and damage the electrical parts inside the bulb.
  • 4P Conductive, E-Simpo's New Generation. PBT Housing,Copper Contact.Suitable for All Voltage: 100-240V,Works for 4-Pin CFL with G24q-1 Base:10w 13w Quad Tube; GX24q-1 Base:10w 13w Triple Tube;G24q-2 Base:18w Quad Tube;GX24q-2 Base:18w Triple Tube;G24q-3 Base:26w 32w Quad Tube;GX24q-3 Base:26w 32w Triple Tube
  • There are some LED Driver who can be compatible with the ballast, no LED Driver can be compatible with all the ballast. So the best thing is bypass or remove once we want to change CFL to LED Lamp. When we remove pin-based CFL, we only removed the lamp, the ballast is still working in front fixture; even we change to E26/E27 CFL, there will be 2 ballasts, the light will not work.

  • both pin on each side are hooked together so it works going into a two pin adapter
Style: 2-Pack
I don't understand why they had to make light bulbs so complicated. there is four pin, 2 pin angle, 2 pin across and maybe more. And then the length of the plug is either long or short. Too many options, but after 3 tries the light does burn. Have patience.

  • Fits and works
Style: 2-Pack
Adapter fits my OttLight lamp and allows me to use regular LED bulbs instead of the expensive, dim OttLight fluorescent bulbs. No rewiring needed. Due to the many OttLight configurations, it took two tries to get the correct adapter for my lamp.

  • Watch your wattage rating
Style: 8-Pack
This is a very handy and simple conversion device. But I installed one for using a heat lamp that was rated at 250 watts. The conversion device is also rated at 250 watts but when enclosed in the can the light will only stay on for a few minutes and then go off until it cools down.

  • Great product if YOU do it right.
Style: 12-Pack
Great product period. I had purchased 88 of these sockets & everyone of them worked. 1st of all this product CONVERTS a 4 pin cfl base to a medium E26 base ( this is found in any house fixture & lamps, a base for a standard light bulb). 2nd you have to have some knowledge about electric. You need to know what voltage you are working with, 120v,277v,208/240v. If you plan to use standard light bulbs as you get in the hardware store then you need to see if voltage is 120v. 3rd remove ballast from fixture you are working on ( make sure power is off on the light you are working on). Once ballast is removed you will have 4 wires going to old 4 pin socket. In my case I had 2 red & 2 blue. I connected my 2 reds to the hot wire & 2 blues to the neutral wire ( you can check your wires with a voltage tester, testing each one to ground, you have to turn power on to do this). Turn power back off & look into 4 pin socket & mark which pins your red wires are going to (this is important because LED lamps are polarity sensitive). Now on your new socket look at the tab on the inside bottom. You will notice that it will be going to one side of the socket where the pins are located, mark these pins so you can line them up with the mark you made on the old 4 pin socket. Insert socket, installed lamp, make sure your red wires are splice to the hot wire & blues to the neutral wire. Turn on power & lamp will work. We changed out 88 - 32watt cfl’s to 65 watt leds with no problems with the lamps. If you have problems with any of the old 4 pin sockets breaking you can buy new ones on amazon. Hope this helps. ... show more

  • 19 out of 20 worked
Style: 10-Pack
One of the adapters caused the LED bulb to flicker and go out. Fortunately we had only 19 CFL bulbs that needed to be replaced in our church kitchen so I switched out the adapter with the flickering LED bulb with the last remaining adapter in the box and it worked. Had all 20 worked I would have given this a full 5 star rating. They were easy to insert into the pin socket after the ballast was bypassed. ... show more

  • Must be wired correctly
Style: 2-Pack
Edit to original review. Original review was negative. I had wired correctly w bypass of ballast. Problem was the wiring to the fixture was done with other lights on same circuit I had also removed them for replacement. After replacing both lights everything worked fine Apologies to seller for negative review ... show more

  • An easy way to convert over to LED from CFL lamps.
Style: 10-Pack
I've used a few of them to replace four pin GX24q CFL's for LED flood lights. The four pins on these adapters have only two pins connected to the pin and sleeve of the socket. They are not marked as to which one is the line side so you need to get out the ohm meter. I plan to use these in limited areas of my church where it is easy access to the lamp fixture with a step ladder. The LED 9 watt (65 watt equivalent) puts out about double the light of the 18 watt CFL that were in the fixture. ... show more

  • It didn’t work. Couldn’t remove it…broke my lamp socket trying to take it off to return it.
Style: 2-Pack
It was the right attachment for my lamp, but it didn’t light the (brand new) bulb from another lamp. When I tried to remove it, found it was stuck. I tried to pried it loose, but only succeeded in pulling the lamp socket out of the lamp. Now my lamp is broken. I received a complete refund, but now my beautiful lamp is garbage. ... show more
