  • Good quality for the price
Size: 56 egg-orange
We love this incubator. This is our second one that we’ve bought because we wanted to have two available to hatch. It’s a really good price and so far has done really well with hatching various sized eggs.

  • Looks great
Size: 30 egg-white
I haven’t put eggs in it yet but I tested it out and everything works as it should. This incubator is very simple to use. I love that it has a built in candler. I’m excited to start hatching.

  • Great incubator for first time users- great results with our own fertilized chicken eggs
Size: 56 egg-orange
So far we really enjoy this incubator- after reading through many reviews and styles we started with this one- seems to be good value for the money; I'm sure the smaller model would have been just fine to start but we were at bit overzealous and stared with 56 so we had options and room for different eggs I appreciated the pre-set settings- its practically plug and go. the instructions were easy to read and follow- the machine is durable and has a hum/ gentle vibration when running, it's loudest when the cover is off but it quieter than our bathroom vent... makes a little rumble when it rotates eggs. The humidity control is a nice feature and the menu pad is intuitive to use/ easy instructions to follow. Accurate temp and humidity levels. Temp and humidity levels recover quickly after opening cover, even after several egg checks. I did not wait for the incubator to get to temp before loading- we had 100% hatch rate with our first batch of 5 partially incubated eggs from our hen- the egg shells seemed a bit drier at hatch than hers because of the machine factor but chicks hatched with no problems. Another round of chicks expected to hatch in a few days that will be fully incubator start to hatch1 we love the candling feature- its very bright- i think ill find an o ring to narrow the scope a bit for viewing more chicken eggs, its blinding if light sneaks through. the machine is durable parts all the way around- the egg tray separators are flexible and easy to adjust to make room for hatching. cleaning was easy too. ... show more

  • High capacity, adjustable, and makes hatching eggs way less stressful
Size: 24 egg-brown
This egg incubator holds 24 eggs and has adjustable humidity settings so you can tweak it according to the stage of incubation. Setup is really easy, the instructions are very clear, and the whole thing is super user-friendly. One note: the instructions suggest starting the incubator an hour before putting the eggs in so it can get up to temperature and regulate before you add them. Smart move—just requires a little advance planning instead of spontaneous egg-hatching excitement. I did notice one quirk with the candling feature: it works well, but the lit display right next to the candling apparatus makes it harder to see inside the egg. As soon as you cover up the blue light from the display, though, it’s way easier to use the candling light. Minor annoyance, easy fix. So far, it’s been very reliable. I really like that so many of the features are adjustable—it has high capacity, but you don’t have to fill all 24 spots at once. You can adjust the spacing for the turning divisions so both my bantam eggs and my Marans can be used in the incubator at the same time. Your eggs don’t have to be identical sizes, which is a huge plus if you’ve got a mixed flock like I do. One of my favorite design features is how transparent the incubator is—you can really see everything that’s going on inside without having to open it up. This means you’re not constantly messing with the temperature by lifting the lid to check on things like an overprotective helicopter parent. Just peek through the clear top and you’re good. And honestly? This was definitely my kids’ favorite feature too. They loved being able to watch the eggs without me begging them to stop opening it every five minutes. Solid incubator at a price that doesn’t break the bank. Does what it’s supposed to do without making me feel like I need a degree in poultry science to operate it. ... show more

  • Hatching Made Human
Size: 12 egg-green
Incubation is equal parts science and suspense. One degree off, one dry spell, and 21 days of hope collapse into a silent tray. This compact green 12-egg unit—armed with PID control, auto-turn, and a 360° crystal dome—doesn’t just reduce those risks; it turns the black-box anxiety of hatching into a front-row educational spectacle. After three cycles (36 chicken eggs, 8 duck, 16 quail), here’s the unfiltered verdict. Precision That Actually Delivers The PID controller isn’t marketing fluff. It holds 99.5 °F with ±0.3 °F drift in a 68–78 °F room—tighter than many $200 units. Humidity is the real win: an external bottle feeds a motorized wick via solenoid. Set 60 %; it stays 59–61 % for days. No more midnight sponge rituals. A secondary manual port lets you top off without lifting the lid—critical during lockdown. Auto-Turn Done Right Horizontal rollers cradle eggs in a silicone-lined tray and rotate a gentle 35° every 90 minutes (customizable to 60/120/180). Motion is whisper-quiet; embryos never jolt. The auto-stop at day 18 (chicken) or user-defined is a godsend—chicks orient without tangled legs. One caveat: goose eggs need the dividers removed and a foam pad to prevent rolling collisions. Visibility & Candling: Pure Theater The quadrilateral dome and flush LED strip turn candling into a nightly ritual. At day 7, veins glow like red lightning; by day 14, chicks pirouette on cue. Kids (and adults) press noses to the plastic without fogging it—condensation beads on the outside thanks to dual-wall insulation. A small vent slider prevents CO₂ buildup while preserving humidity. Capacity & Flexibility 12 chicken (standard tray) 9 duck (remove every other divider) 6 goose (custom spacing) 24 quail (optional small-egg grid, not included) The dividers snap in/out like Lego—30 seconds to reconfigure. A minor gripe: the tray’s center spindle can bind if eggs vary wildly in size; sort by weight for smoothest turning. Operation & Safeguards The LCD is daylight-bright: temp, RH, days incubated, turns remaining, and a blinking water-drop when the bottle’s low. Alarms are tasteful—a 3-second chirp, not a smoke detector. Over-temp cut-off kicks in at 103 °F; I tested it with a hairdryer—unit shut down in 42 seconds and flashed “E1.” Materials are BPA-free ABS; the lid locks with a child-proof latch that still opens one-handed. Cleaning & Durability Post-hatch cleanup: lift tray, hose it, wipe dome with vinegar water. No crevices for salmonella to hide. After 60+ days of 80 % humidity, zero mold, zero warping. The fan grille unscrews for feather dust removal—thoughtful. The (Small) Rough Edges Power cord: 5 ft. An extension is mandatory for most setups. Water bottle: 500 ml lasts ~5 days at 60 % RH; a 1 L upgrade would be nicer. Goose egg turning: Needs manual intervention or DIY foam wedges. No battery backup: A 30-second outage resets the day counter (but not temp setpoints). ... show more
