For my Counter height kitchen island. They did not fit underneath the countertop. The seat height was great but the arms/back was to high to fit underneath. One chair has wrinkled at the back of the chair. I could only get 3 chair to my island because of the width of the chairs. Overall I am greatly pleases with the chairs. I am glad I ordered them.

I like the fact that there were spare hardware parts for the assembly. Also very very well packaged and beautiful wood finish. If in the future the padding becomes damaged, there are screws to remove the seat for easy repairing of seat padding. Very nice for the money.

I love these barstools! They look way more expensive than they were. I have a 41" counter and I ordered 2 of the 29" stools. They are perfect. Assembly was pretty easy if you are used to putting things together. Just leave the screws a little loose as you go and don't tighten them all until everything lines up, then tighten them. FYI, for the screw caps, you will need a hammer or mallet to gently tap them in, you can't really do it by hand (at least I couldn't), and it doesn't state that in the instructions. I'm about 5'6/5'7 and not a small person but I fit in them comfortably...but these are definitely not one size fits all, so if you are on the wider side, I'd double check the measurements of the seat before buying. I did and they were the same dims as my previous stools so I figured they would work and luckily they did. If this is a concern for you just double check the seat dims because since there are "sides", those could be restrictive to some. I think these are so beautiful and look great! I find them really comfortable with the back rest and the cute little arm rests are a bonus. I am so happy with these! I bought the black/walnut color and it's very nice and rich. Material does not feel too cheap, it has a little bit of texture. I know the wood is veneer so hopefully they won't get scratched, but the wood won't interact with the counter so I think they should hold up ok. Item was well packed and protected and included everything in the box, so no complaints there. Very pleased with my purchase and would recommend them to anyone. Was also pleased with how fast I got them. Great experience, thanks!
