Took about an hour and a half to put together in total, not so bad. Get it all set up and take it out on the road to test brakes/gears. Shifting through the gears the gear shifter jumped into the spokes and was destroyed. I’m glad I was testing this and not my daughter, who the bike was for. I’m returning it, but of course I’m going to have to spend another hour or so getting it to fit into the box so it can be shipped back. Overall huge waste of time. I don’t know if they expect one to be able to figure out how to adjust the gear shifter or if it was supposed to be set up ready to go, but there was nothing regarding the gears in the instructions. I’m mostly pissed for how much time this is all wasting that I frankly don’t have to waste. Also a good way to ruin a kid’s birthday. My daughter was so excited because the bike looks great and I’m sure would’ve been great if the gears didn’t come all jacked up. Learned my lesson about buying a bike online, won’t be doing that again. I recommend checking out bikes in person at a local store…

I just got it, put it together, and took it for its first ride around the block and up and down the street with my kids. If anything changes as I ride more, I’ll change the review. Instructions: The instructions are crap. I had to watch the videos for ALL their versions of the bike before getting some of the smaller details together. I would gladly rewrite their instructions. Mind you, I’m the assembler of the household and would take apart and reassemble my own bikes as a kid. I’m not exactly a novice, but it’s also been awhile since needing to put together a bike. Assembly: Actually putting together the bike wasn’t too bad. It would have been nice to know the sizes of the nuts (again - vague instructions) to make things go faster, but overall okay. I took it for a ride and had to readjust the handlebars, but that’s trial and error. Size: This is what worried me the most. I am 5’2 and have a 28 inch inseam (like barefoot and to the floor). This bike actually fits me - I’m on my tippy toes when seated. I tilted the front of the seat downwards and that helped. Color: I wish I could have gotten one of the other colors in the photos, but I settled for the light blue. It’s cute. Cost: I found a similar bike from an ‘actual company’ on sale for $299. Not that I can actually compare the two but I’m not disappointed. (Yet?) Comfort: I guess it’s okay. I like the upright position. I’m not used to a step through bike - I’ve always had sportier bikes and had to swing my leg over. It’s something for me to get used to bc I can’t swing over the back with the little cargo thing. Basket: I ordered a bigger, metal basket when I ordered the bike. The basket is fine for a child’s bike, so I’m giving it to my kid. The real test will be next week when I attempt to ride this to and from school with my kids. Wish me luck.

Bike arrived with some minor damage to fenders and struts, dents and paint chips. Nothing that could not be repaired, but not what one would expect in a brand new item. Unsure if this was a packaging or delivery issue, I reached out to Eisyrood through Amazon customer service. They have offered a partial refund. I am keeping the bike and will have it repaired (keeping the bike with a partial refund is what I asked for.) Their customer service is not likely US based but they answered in a timely manner and the matter has been resolved within two days. I did receive the bike a day earlier than my expected delivery window, which was excellent. The bike itself is a lovely product, sturdy, and quite comfortable for my 5’4” frame. I expect to enjoy it for many years. The basket leaves a little to be desired, it’s rather flimsy, for now I will shore it up with a solid base plate and will likely upgrade it at some point in the future. Of note* the frame is listed as aluminum, but it is steel. At the price point, it would be surprising if this were an aluminum frame, but we have asked both Amazon and Eisyrood to correct the listing.

This is the worst instruction set there were bike parts that don’t match the description online, the parts didn’t match the bike and there are extra pieces not listed in the products photo. The entire rear of the bike came unassembled, and there are no instructions on how to put it together. An absolute nightmare. The leather looks cheap, the seat is small, it looks better in the photo online than in person. I would honestly return it if it wasn’t such a hassle. Very disappointed.
