This is exactly what I was looking for! I love the fire scene and the heater adds to my room for my Winter needs. I was reluctant to purchase after reading the reviews, but it looked great and the price was good, so I ordered it. There were complaints about the remote not working, but you just need to get to know it. It is multifunctional. I have learned that pushing the power button once turns on the fireplace and the heat. When I need to turn it off, I need to push the power button twice, and it turns off the view and the heat. There is a delay for the heat to turn off, so be patient. This is a safety feature on most heaters. I didn't care for the backlighting, so I keep it turned off. I would say to play with the remote until you are familiar with the options that are available. It's a great heater, and I love lying in bed watching the flames, and the heat is just enough for my use.

IF I could even tell you how much this thing has saved us in LP this winter in our RV!!!!! It's Great! Keeps us so warm!!!! Looks pretty too! Thermostat works great! Just don't lose your remote cause it adjusts that part. Everything else will work on the side of the unit. We keep ours in the TV unit for safe keeping! Replacement for a 2011 Montana fifth wheel. We had to put a tiny strip of trim around it cause it wasn't an exact fit. My husband used flat bar and we painted it black. NO ONE CAN EVEN TELL! 11-12 Monty Owners, STOP FIGHTING that one they gave us...GET YOU ONE OF THESE!!! WOW it's so nice to lay the monster to rest!!! AND it's helping us save money in LP SEASON!!! haha -You're Welcome!

Didn’t get much use out of it. I shut it down for a few months and now it will come on, but shuts itself off with an error code. Tossed in the trash. 2 bad units in a row. They both worked for a little, then died. Don’t waste your cash on this thing. Old review; I submitted to return this heater for a refund. Took a chance and purchased a new unit. So far I am impressed. Currently experiencing an extreme polar vortex so the heater is working harder than normal and it really pushes some hot air! The fire place is one of the best I’ve seen. The blue accent light is a welcome detail for me. The control panel and display are super low quality. Oldest review; Broke down after only a couple uses I bought it less than a month ago. Only used it twice before and it won’t stay on. I did not have the extra cash to burn on this one.

LOVE this fireplace! I have never installed an electric fireplace before, but this was surprisingly easy. Took my measurements to build a frame inside the existing fireplace, Lowe’s cut the wood to size for me, I screwed some L brackets onto the corners, & boom. Frame was built. Installing the fireplace into the frame itself was easy. The hardest part was getting the stones & logs to stay in place where I wanted them. I found it helpful to load up as many as I could without them falling, then hook the bottom brackets of the glass cover on, & gently drop the rest of the stones in from the small opening at the top of the glass cover before screwing the glass fully into place. Just placed an order for 3 more fireplaces for my other rental units. Such an easy, inexpensive upgrade that really adds value to the property!

Great quality fireplace. This unit throws off a lot of heat and has different fan speeds which is great. The flame looks real and fits nicely into a portable fireplace mantle. I love how cozy it makes the room feel.

I would give a 5 star but the remote did not work. After trouble shooting in accordance with the manual and Amazon support, I was passed along to the supplier advanced customer service. Still waiting on them to contact me. Contacted seller and they sent two replacement remotes. It took a while to get them but they worked.

The media could not be loaded. I installed the 26 inch unit into my entertainment unit in my living room. Plugged it in and I heard a click. Pushed the on button and the flame started and the heating fan was on low. Turned off the fan because we live in Texas and the A\C was on. Afterwards, the heating element got very red and the unit shut off. I tried again a couple of times and got the same results. Concluded we had a defective product and will try a replacement. Also, the remote didn't work, despite changing the batteries multiple times. We like the look.

Fireplace is awesome! cozy and puts out great heat. Flame is realistic. lightweigt and easy to install into my entertainment center as a replacement since my other unit stopped working. My only complaint is that the remote control does not work and no I called can replace just the remote control.
