I had a very disappointing experience with this electric bike and the seller. When the bike arrived, it was defective out of the box. The chain was installed backwards, making the bike unusable. I had no choice but to take it to a local bike shop and pay $54 out of pocket just to get it fixed. After my son used the bike for only three days, the bike completely stopped charging. At that point, the bike was essentially useless. I paid $414 (with tax) for the bike, plus another $54 to repair a defect that should never have existed. When I tried to return the bike due to these issues, I was told I would have to pay $200 in return shipping, which is extremely unreasonable considering the product arrived defective and then failed shortly after. Between the poor quality, additional repair costs, and expensive return shipping, this has been a huge inconvenience and waste of money. ... show more

Directions to install were horrible. Lots of the parts are very cheap. Got it for christmas, used it about 10 times and now it won't work- error code E010 and I followed the troubleshooting instructions. Still doesn't work. What a waste!

Horrible experience, save yourself the headache and DO NOT BUY from this seller. Bike came defective, reached out to return it but they were extremely unhelpful. I did a claim with Amazon because the seller was not providing me with a label to return it and kept giving me pushbacks. Xsam sports is horrible company. I hope nobody buys from them. Our ebike stopped charging within 60 days. They proposed refunding 50% of original invoice. They did not offer the make it right by sending new battery or new unit.

I've been using this e-bike for my daily 20-mile round trip to work for about a month now, and I am blown away.
