Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with this bike. The bike arrived with a piece sticking out of the box and damaged. It was quite difficult to assemble and it only worked for two minutes before shutting down with an error code. Contacting the company was not an issue, they were responsive, but not very helpful. We were offered replacement parts and a small amount of money. There was a good amount of back and forth as the replacement part did not address all of the issues with the bike. The light worked only if you held the horn button down, the shifter was bad and the brakes didn’t work. It was very frustrating. The engine replacement never showed up and after we were offered portions of the amount it cost throughout the experience (which was unacceptable) we insisted a full refund and received it. Do not purchase this bike. It was quite a disappointment as a gift to our teenage son for Christmas. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This e-bike is great! Assembly took about 10–15 minutes — just had to install the front wheel, fenders, handlebar, headlight, and pedals. The battery came nearly empty and needed about 3 hours to fully charge. It has front and rear disc brakes, a Shimano gear system, and a silver chain (not the usual black one). Without using the motor, it rides like a regular mountain bike — a bit heavy, but smooth. The pedal assist has 5 levels. Level 1 helps maintain around 6 mph, and level 5 goes up to about 19–20 mph. Riding with assist is effortless, and changing levels is as easy as pressing the up or down button. Very convenient and fun to use! So far, I’ve ridden about 30 miles and still have just under half the battery left — probably thanks to pedaling more myself. If using throttle only, the range would likely be much shorter. If I run into any issues, I’ll update this review. ... show more

I had a very disappointing experience with this electric bike and the seller. When the bike arrived, it was defective out of the box. The chain was installed backwards, making the bike unusable. I had no choice but to take it to a local bike shop and pay $54 out of pocket just to get it fixed. After my son used the bike for only three days, the bike completely stopped charging. At that point, the bike was essentially useless. I paid $414 (with tax) for the bike, plus another $54 to repair a defect that should never have existed. When I tried to return the bike due to these issues, I was told I would have to pay $200 in return shipping, which is extremely unreasonable considering the product arrived defective and then failed shortly after. Between the poor quality, additional repair costs, and expensive return shipping, this has been a huge inconvenience and waste of money. ... show more
