These candles helped to keep the mosquitoes away. They also smelled like Centronella. The problem was that the candle wax leaked from the tin containers onto the plastic and glass lawn tables I had placed them on. Now I am having a difficult time removing the residue from the candle wax from my tables. My plastic lawn tables are permanently ruined. I am still working on removing the residue from the glass-top tables. I suggest if you purchase these candles place them on the ground and not on any furniture.
