I have tried a few other "cheaper" 50ft hoses for my electric pressure washer similar to this one. All were essentially the same price within a couple $. I returned 3 other brands because of quality issues. The first one worked well, but the outer cover was very fragile and was damaged from just one use. The 2nd one was much more like the factory hoses, hard and definitely not kink free and the 3rd leaked badly from one of the crimp joints. These were from some of the more well known brands as well. This particular hose stands well above the rest for several reasons. 1 - Its rated for 4000psi. I don't know if this is a real rating or not, but it works great with my 2000psi electric pressure washer. I haven't tried it with my 3400psi gas unit yet. 2 - It is much softer than the factory hoses and has much less "memory". 3 - It is much more kink resistant than any of the other hoses I tried. You can make this hose kink, but it is difficult to do. Due to its softness, It tends to "unwrap" the coil rather than kink. (There is a video on another review that shows this). and 4 - the outer cover is not as hard as the factory hoses, but also not that delicate. It did not show any wear other than normal scuffs from being dragged around on my concrete driveway. I have never owned a flexzilla hose, but this one is by far the closest cheaper hose that I have seen that comes close to doing what flexzilla claims their hoses do, all for about 1/2 the price. I recommend that you buy one and check it out for yourself. I am definitely keeping this one! Just used this hose again today and it works so well, I wanted to post an update. Great low kink hose!

I was hesitant about purchasing a new hose for our power washer. It was initially a tight fit but once the new o rings inside were seated, the hose fit perfectly on the washer and handle. I've used it for about 1 hrs and am impressed so far by the quality concerning the affordable price.

Just pull out of the shed after being stored all winter. As soon as I applied pressure the brass fitting snapped clean off. It was stored exactly how I stored my old hose for 5 years. Unfortunately its a cheap product that didnt even survive 5 uses!
