The box this came in said it was a 5 gallon water container, which had me a little worried. But after unfolding it I was happy to see it was the 29 gallon version I’d ordered. A 29 gallon bladder takes a long time to fill up, and I wish the water intake had a float or something that would keep lifting the bag as it filled so you wouldn’t have to hold it up while it’s being filled. Also, 29 gallons of water is almost 250 pounds, so I wish it had handles that made it easier to lift or pull once it’s full. We use this to take along extra water for washing, etc when we go camping. I love that it's so portable and lightweight, we can refill it as needed and then pack it up easily when we're done with it. When I got this, I thought I got the wrong size. The printing on the corrugated box indicated that this was a FIVE gallon bladder, however, the affixed label says 29 gallons. I measured the bladder and my measurements were close enough to the advertised measurements. Using the advertised measurements, the bladder holds 29 gallons. So, rest assured, that if you get this package and the carton says five gallons, you didn’t get the wrong item. When folded, the bladder takes little space. The bladder is well made of a heavy gauge material. The water openings do not leak. The outlet spout is barbed so you can affix a hose if needed. There are metal rings on top so that you could strap this to a cart to keep it steady. You cannot lift by those rings, however. Keep in mind that is not intended for drinking water. ... show more

Whether you are camping, going the kid’s T-ball game, or just preparing for the worst, this water storage bladder might be perfect for you. The best thing is that it’s collapsible, so storage is simple. The only down is it’s not at all easily transported once filled. I like the fact that the walls are pretty thick, so I don’t ever really see this thing ever splitting on its own. Just like any soft container, the material can cut so it’s best to keep it away from sharp objects, especially out camping. Valve works well and doesn’t leak at all. This is a pretty good water storage system. The material is thick but pliant. It's pretty heavy duty. There are some metal D rings on the top that you can attach handles too or suspend the bladder if you wanted to do that. My only issue with the product is the plastic valve. It feels like it could break, especially if you were in cold conditions. It hasn't yet, but it is an area of concern for me. Other than that it's great. 4 stars. ... show more

Where we live we have water outages all the time as the utility company seems to always have a leak. This is compact enough to leave under the sink and when we're going to have an outage we just pull it out and fill it up.
