For the last several years I have gone through several consumer-grade dehumidifiers in an attempt to keep my basement dry. I decided to try this professional-brand Moiswell 145-pint dehumidifier because I needed something more reliable and efficient than the cheaper dehumidifiers that I found were breaking after just a couple of years. While I have only owned the product for a couple of weeks and cannot attest to its long-term reliability, this Moiswell dehumidifier is performing exactly as expected so far and I am very pleased. The dehumidifier has kept my basement dry and enables me to monitor the exact levels of temperature and relative humidity and adjust accordingly. The build quality is excellent, and it is small enough that I can keep it out of the way even as it keeps my entire basement, about 1000 square feet, completely dry. The pump works very well, draining directly into the drain in my basement using the included hose. Set-up was easy. The manual is clear and the warranty is reasonable. This is an excellent product. One tip: be sure to follow the directions and let the dehumidifier adjust to room temperature for 24 hours after delivery before using it. According to the manual, this will help prevent any long-term issues with the compressor.

I just bought a second one of these for my garage after being very pleased with the performance of my first one in my basement. They a very well built, the enclosure is heavy-gauge steel. They appear to be designed to be easily serviced should that ever be needed. The controls are simple and the display is large and easy to read from a distance. They are surprisingly quiet. The blower is clearly of high quality because it moves a lot of air with less noise than other big box store dehumidifiers I've had in the past. The compressor is barely audible above the blower. They seem to effortlessly dry out large areas that my other dehumidifiers seemed to struggle with. The pump works very well, and the tubing they give you to connect to the pump is of a very flexible, silicone-like material that is easy to route where you choose. Overall, I'm very pleased, and happy to be done buying disposable dehumidifiers.

Love this dehumidifier. It pulls the humidity out of my basement so fast. The custom service is great. I had a problem with the dehumidifier and sent customer service an email. They responded quickly and had me run some tests. Turned out it was not working correctly and I was sent a new replacement immediately, at no cost to me.

Does a fantastic job and having the pump built-in makes life so much easier than having to empty a tank or being limited in placement by needing to use a gravity feed. Giving four stars because my first unit developed a coolant leak after just under a year, but Moiswell support was great in troubleshooting and getting a replacement shipped out under warranty.

I'm not an expert, and I'm not using this professionally, but As a regular homeowner that just got tired of expensive garbage plastic dehumidifiers that you have to constantly dump the 2 gallons of water from on a daily basis, this is a durable heavy duty replacement. Just taking this out of the box you can tell it is more of a commercial dehumidifier. After the past 6 years of fighting with gravity drains that decide to fill the bucket instead of the hose, filter clogged messes & units that just don't turn on when the humidity gets high, this has been working perfect. The control is not rocket science, but reading the instructions made it easy to understand & use. Noise is less than the units it replaced. I'm tracking energy usage, with a smart plug, and it's lower than the energy star model it replaced It's only been a little while, but my wife pointed out the musty smell is already gone in our basement. I'll update or change this if I have any problems. For now, I'm loving it! Spend a little more money now, you'll be happier in the end.

The dehumidifier works flawlessly to keep my space at my setting of 50%. I am amazed how quiet the unit operates. I have the unit placed in my crawl space that is directly underneath our living room and still cannot hear it. The unit came with everything needed, you just have to plug it in set your desired humidity setting and the unit does the rest. Will purchase Moisewell products in the future.
