This mobility chair is fantastic! It is both super lightweight and strong. It is great for both indoor and outdoor use. I thought that with its solid tires this unit might not very comfortable travelling on the outdoor paths I am used to traveling with my old 60+ pound mobility scooter. But that is simply not the case. This new Raysync carbon fiber scooter is not only just as comfortable as my old scooter, it seems to be more stable besides. I have no problems accessing my home from street level up across a 2 1/2 inch step up then up a steep driveway. My only fear is wearing out the wheels on this unit without having a way to replace them. Neither the Raysync nor the Unihon storefronts provide information about obtaining repair parts, should any be necessary. Meanwhile I am just enjoying my new scooter and marveling at the engineering and manufacturing technology that obviously went into building this thing. The chair is just as advertised; super light and really well designed. Control is easy to operate and everything is quite intuitive. The only thing I noticed was that when the motors are disengaged from the wheels, the wheels aren't completely free-wheeling. But because the chair is so light it's not an issue. In fact it's easily maneuvered even with the motors engaged by simply picking up the rear by the handles. Great product overall. Can't comment on the durability yet as it was just received. But with the great design, I don't anticipate any issues. Also, though not a product issue, the Owners Manual fails to mention that if both batteries are mounted on the chair, the charger won't charge either of them. And Figure 12 in the Manual has the labels reversed for the battery charged level and the speed control. These 2 things caused me to think there was a problem with the chair and it took a couple days and some emails to the customer service rep to realize the chair was just fine. I gave feedback on the Manual issues and hopefully the company will update it. ... show more

    • At 250 lbs, this chair got me out of the house!
After looking at wheelchairs that weighed twice as much as this one and three times the price, I chose this one. The basic chair works great and I can actually lift it to go up and down 3 steps by myself. I had some trouble using the remote and the seller quickly sent the rear control which I got to work so I don't have to get help on slopes like my driveway. I am impaired with a disability permit so this chair will allow me to do the travel I want to do now that I am retired. ... show more

This wheel chair takes some practice to maneuver due to very sensitive joystick. I took the chair to Las Vegas. It was a simple process to use in the airports and was a great advantage in Las Vegas, both indoors and out. I kept up with friends who walked long distances. I am alarmed that the manual included with the chair has no brand listed for the chair and no way to contact customer service or any support at all. There is no way to push the chair in manual mode. There is no way to push the chair at all. When looking up the RaySync or Raysync, I only find a site that transfer large sizes of date. Nothing found on line for wheelchairs! ... show more

My first wheelchair. I'm 5'4" and about 230 lbs. Chair is comfortable enough but pedals are a little short for me so I have to bend my fragile knees at too acute an angle. I can tolerate it and it beats walking distances, especially when I can't get my knee to align enough to avoid pain in every step and use my two canes as short crutches. I find the chair on lowest speed goes at a fast walk if the joystick is pushed fully forward, so I don't do that. Turning radius is larger than dimensions of elevator, or maybe I just lack the fine motor control to make it work. I'm still learning. Two batteries were included, but neither one latches properly on the right, so I either fight with it or let it be with just one side latched. I'm weak so I remove the battery to load the chair in my SUV. Also remove battery for charging, and because the garage gets cold in the winter. Pros: I can lift the chair without the battery. It's a purchase I'm content with. With enough use, I expect to get better with controls. Cons: Turning radius. Manufacturing issue involving latching of battery, but I haven't contacted the vendor about options. ... show more
