I was a little apprehensive when I first opened the box but pleased now that it's set up. Pretty simple set up but you need to take your time clipping the shade onto the frame pieces. The very small clips, on the top and bottom of the inside of the shade, seem like they could easily break off if you rush. You have to keep it taut when wrapping it so you have minimal gapping when you get to the velcro strip that closes the ends. The seam does stand out but is fine if you're putting it near a wall or in a corner. The base feels very solid and sturdy, and the touch control is very sensitive. A 3-way bulb is included in the box. The 1st setting is a nice dim light, the 2nd and 3rd are a lot brighter but I don't notice much difference between the two. I think it gives off a very cozy brightness, nice for reading. Overall, I am pleased and it's perfect for the space I need to light up. I only gave it 4 stars because of how the shade goes together, I think some improvements could be made in that area. But, again, I am very pleased with the final product.

This lamp is very nice. It's a traditional style lamp, and the biggest benefit, which shouldn't be, is it uses a normal light bulb socket. There's so many lights now that use some sort of built-in LED light, but sometimes you just want to have a normal lamp. In one room, we have a ceiling fan with one of the built-in LED lights. It gives good light, but if you're seated at a desk, there is little light, then you put the desk in your own shadow. We needed a lamp to get some light on the table for kid homework time. First off, this is very stylish, and I light the traditional look. It keeps its traditional look, while also adding some USB ports if you want to plug something in, but they are neatly put at the bottom and do not detract from the looks. One thing that was different was the rolled-up lampshade. It has little clips on the shade that you hook the upper and lower circular frame to, and then put on. This makes a seam at the back end, but luckily, you can aim the seam away from view. Another thing that isn't an issue to me, but if you're very picky you may notice, when the lamp is on, you can see the silhouette of where the hooks attach to the frame on the top and the bottom. Another thing I noticed, is the touch feature works well, but it requires a little more push on the black part of the lamp, but changes for me easier when touching the gold portion. As far as light, this puts off good light. It comes with an LED bulb, and has three brightness settings. I really like that it uses a normal light bulb too, which means if there's any issue with the light, you just replace it. It gave everything I was looking for, but I won't call it a perfect five stars for the minor issues which are harder to forgive given the price.

The lamp is nice looking and fairly easy to set up. A bit of advice on the shade: take your time putting it together to ensure you don't damage it. The lamp functions well and puts out an enjoyable and fairly bright light. All parts arrived in good condition.

Easy to assemble, and overall the lamp seems to be made well. The brass part and the lamp shade look nice, but the black base with the marbling looks pretty cheap. I wasn't expecting real marble of course, but it's pretty cheap-looking plastic. I might paint over it with matte black paint. From far away it looks nice.

I like this lamp because it blends in well with my bedroom decor and it is bright enough for reading, polishing your nails, etc. It's just the right size and doesn't take up a lot of room. The touch feature is great. All in all, it's actually a nice lamp.

I like the looks of this lamp, but, I have some issues with it. First, it's dim. I used a bright bulb of my own, but still, this lamp doesn't crank out enough amps/volts to light it up fully. Second, you MUST use the touch on/off feature. I have mine plugged into an outlet controlled by a light switch. Sure, I can turn it of but it WILL NOT turn ON with the light switch. That stinks. You have to touch it on and off, and it has 3 brightness settings - dim, brightest, and even more dim. I don't get why these new lamps don't go dim, brighter, brightest. That's how old 3-way bulbs worked. Why change it? My main problem with this lamp is even on its highest settting, still dim. If you want a dim touch-only lamp, then you're good.

This lamp is by far the most interesting item I’ve assembled. The shade arrived as roll with Velcro on the seams and two hoops. I have to admit I was skeptical but it does go together with relative ease. The touch sensor feature is great! The one con I discovered is the charging ports. It was extremely difficult to plug a charging cord into the lamp. I tried multiple chargers. Currently I have one charging cord plugged in and for fear of breaking the lamp I won’t continue trying the second port. All in all, it’s nice looking bedside or office lamp, especially for the price point.
