I don't usually write reviews, but I had to after using this camera and the excellent customer service by the Tongveo team. Our non profit organization recently began hybrid classes and we needed a quality camera to help us with this. The prices for PTZ cameras can be quite alarming, but I was pleasantly surprised at the affordable prices of the Tongveo cameras. We first ordered the TONGVEO All-in-One System Bundle HD 1080P 3X Optical Zoom PTZ Camera and Bluetooth Conference Speakerphone with microphones. The camera and bluetooth speakerphone were amazing, but we needed more optical zoom for our classes, so we upgraded to the TONGVEO 20x Optical Zoom PTZ camera. Tongveo's products (based on the experience of the ones I have used so far) are properly built with a very sleek finish. The TONGVEO 20X camera came in a carefully packaged box, and shipping was quick. When I opened the box, I was very surprised at the manufacturing of the camera. It wasn't made of cheap plastic. It was properly built...solid, sturdy, durable and quite neat in its appearance. Installation and setup were a breeze. It came with the bracket, screws, wall plugs...We had ours mounted on the ceiling. No additional software was required for the installation...just connect and go. The laptop picked it up immediately, and the remote control works impressively to get the perfect picture. The TONGVEO 3X camera was amazing, but the TONGVEO 20X optical camera blew our minds with its enhanced and upgraded features. Performance wise, the 20X is a pro! The transitions are super smooth, the picture quality is A class...crystal clear and clean. The presets were also very easy to configure. I also like that this one has the option for HDMI as well. The 20X zoom feature works perfectly. The online students can now see the whiteboard as if they were present in class. The TONGVEO bluetooth speaker when paired with the TONGVEO 20x Optical Zoom PTZ Camera gives a very professional finish to our online as well as in-person classes. We upgraded to this camera for more zooming options and we have no regret whatsoever. We got much more than what we expected. I am so very pleased with this camera and all of TONGVEO's products that we have used so far. From my personal experience, they are an amazing company with very innovative and well built products. I highly recommend their products, especially this camera. Also, their customer service is excellent and the team is always ready to assist with any questions...something I truly appreciate. I had bought 2 cameras about 7 months ago. I commentate & stream live events & used these for each one. These are very clear & easy to use. I will be purchasing 2 more to expand capabilities & getting a PTZ controller. I am not a professional in any way but these are great quality for the price & what you can do with them. Basically a plug & play. As an novice in the streaming space, I have received great feedback on the quality of my streams while using these cameras!

Very satisfied with this full-featured PTZ camera purchased at an affordable price. It gives excellent image quality with available light, and very low noise even in low light conditions. The sturdy build quality and attractive design make it a pleasure for me to set up at conference venues for multi-camera shoots feeding HDMI signal into my ATEM extreme ISO. I had no problems using long HDMI cables (75 foot fiber optic HDMI). The IR remote is very intuitive and well laid out. The onscreen menus are logical and easy to navigate. I've been shooting on mirrorless cameras on tripods for so long I didn't fully realize the amazing convenience of PTZ cameras. This camera has shown me the light of PTZ efficiency so much so that I got a controller (which you can see in my photo) and a POE switch too. The interconnect was very straightforward and the settings for networking the controller to the PTZ camera was clearly documented in the user manual included with the camera. When I had questions about sharpness settings and the POE power consumption rating, I got immediate and very helpful response from the Tongveo / Tenveo support team. They were very knowledgable and clear. I fully recommend this camera and company -- especially if you are outfitting a studio or venue etc. for multi-cam switched production with a 1080p switcher like the ATEM mini / extreme etc. I have already recommended these cameras to a client of mine who then purchased four of them for his music production studio allowing him to sell a new service offering -- multi-camera video capture -- to his musician customers who love to document their recording sessions. How else could he provision a 4-PTZ-camera studio with an ISO recording switcher for under $3000 total? These cameras by Tongveo / Tenveo are a serious enabling technology for this use case. Since writing my review I purchased two more of these cameras and looking forward to adding them into my production studio.

The camera has very good resolution, the image is sharp, good zoom, I connected it via PoE and it works wonderfully. I can control it from a video mixer that I have through the Visca IP protocol. Good product at a good price.

I've bought a couple cameras from this company and the image quality is good for the price, but both of the cameras were defective. They ended up sending me replacements, but it was long after the dates that I needed them. I did plan on buying a few more of these in the future so all of my ptz cameras are the same model (assuming the replacements aren't also defective) but I am hesitant to trust the build quality. Customer support has been pretty good that though so... If you're going to buy one of these just get it early so that if it stops working you can contact them and get a replacment.

I've come across many sites that recommend PTZ Optics as one of the go-to cameras for churches. While that may be true, for smaller churches on a tighter budget, this PTZ camera by Tongveo can accomplish what those expensive ones do but at a more affordable price. I wanted one that had a Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) LAN port so it could be powered over the same cable that transmits signals. I also wanted the option for USB-C and HDMI connections in case I wanted to output a video signal with hardly any lag—perfect for those who want to transmit to local TV monitors, such as in the church lobby. This camera has these and other ports to suit your needs. For those who don’t have another program to control the camera, the web interface it comes with is amazingly easy to use and very responsive. The instructions that came with it are easy to follow, and if you need any help, I'm pleased to say that the support team at Tongveo responds immediately to any concerns you email them about. This was a pleasant experience compared to other companies, where getting help can be a frustrating and time-consuming process. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this camera, and the company has exceeded my expectations in both product quality and customer support. If you're looking for a reliable, feature-rich PTZ camera that won’t break the bank, the Tongveo PTZ camera is a smart investment for any small church or budget-conscious organization. I needed a strong HD camera with multiple (programmable) recallable positions. This is a great camera for that. HOWEVER... the company, Tongveo, produced VERY SKIMPY instructions and not very useful video. When you program the shots into memory it's difficult. If you go right into programming the second position you will likely have to go back and set one again. I've been more successful when I program one and then leave it for a few mins (possibly letting it time out... not sure). I'm using this for a podcast. UPDATE: I had difficulty programming the camera angles. I've learned that the user must HOLD DOWN the RESET button AND the memory button (1 thru 9) simultaneously to clear that memory slot, even if it hasn't been previously used... then, once the camera angle is adjusted and correct, the user can HOLD down the Preset button and the memory button simultaneously for a moment, and that should save the camera shot into memory. But check it a couple of times to be certain. Clarity is good. Color is correct. Auto focus is good. One more piece of information: I purchased a 2nd of these cameras. If I make an adjustment using the remote it affects both cameras. The cameras are programmed as Number 1 by default. If you want to program an additional camera to 2, 3 or 4, you have to go into the MENU and then go down to COMMUNICATION and you can reprogram there. That's if you can figure out how to change all of the MENU nomenclature to English. I played with that for half an hour before I wound up in English... and I'm not entirely sure how that happened.
