This Logitech Brio 4K webcam is the perfect camera for me. Yes, the price is a bit steep compared to other options, but after owning several Logitech products, I was comfortable paying the premium price. I’m on Zoom calls constantly, and my laptop’s built-in webcam was straight-up terrible. I had to chase the “perfect lighting” just to still end up looking grainy and washed out. This camera fixes all of that. It adjusts beautifully in low-light situations — like my 7 AM calls in my dim living room — and still makes me look sharp and clear. Even if I’m not always the most productive person in my meetings, at least now I’ve got the best video quality on the call. Absolutely worth the upgrade.

After using my old Logitech webcam for over a decade, I finally upgraded to the Brio PRO X and wow - what an improvement! Setup was super simple and it works perfectly with both my Windows and Mac devices. The 4K quality is amazing - super clear image, colors look true to life, and the video quality is excellent. Love how easy it is to adjust all the features to get things looking just right. The auto light correction and noise-canceling mic work great. As someone who's trusted Logitech for years, this definitely lives up to their reputation for quality. Pretty sure this one will last me another 10 years! Perfect investment if you need a reliable, high-quality webcam.

This webcam is incredible! The video quality is sharp and vibrant—my meetings have never looked better. I bought this to use with a recent switch of a desktop computer to Linux (Fedora 42). I needed a high quality video camera that worked well with Linux for conference calls on Google meet, ms teams, zoom, etc., and also for Loom and YouTube videos. The integration with Linux was simple and provided great quality without any special setup. Low light is excellent too. I was able to setup the camera's microphone as a backup to my normal high quality shure microphone. Highly recommended for this use case.

The camera, as a video camera, is good. Video quality is better than my previous Razer camera and with Windows Hello support it makes system access a breeze. My only gripe with the camera? The privacy shutter is terrible. It comes off way to easy and is just not what I'd expect from Logitech. The privacy cover just clips on (poorly) to the top of the camera and has a little flap/door you swing down to cover the camera. Logitech, you really couldn't just add a privacy shutter and switch? Other than the privacy shutter my only other complaint is with the cord. It's too thick and stiff and makes it hard to position the camera without the cord forcing unwanted movement. Aside from those grips everything else about the camera, you know the camera/video stuff, is great. Logi's software is intuitive, video quality is top notch and runs without a hitch. I really like Windows Hello and that is supported on this camera with it's 3d face supplemental camera. All in all it's one of the top "streaming" cameras on the market with good reason, especially for Windows users with support for Windows Hello.

Coming from the classic Logitech Pro C920 (still an excellent 1080p webcam), I wanted a 4k camera even though I only stream myself in 1080p with colleagues, due to communication software limitations. The reason for this is that utilizing a higher-resolution 4k camera sensor at a lower 1080p resolution can yield better sharpness than recording direct from a 1080p sensor at 1080p. This depends heavily on the camera sensor, however. In addition I needed something that has good color, as most webcams I've seen video reviews of are just bad at capturing color, with washed out tints. A thing to note when using a 4k webcam is how to actually get 4k out of it. Not all applications support 4k input, for example the Windows "Camera" app currently doesn't, many video meeting/conference apps don't, etc. In addition a USB3 port absolutely must be used to get 4k, and not just any USB3 port. For example, my computer's front USB3 ports will not permit 4k recording, the option just won't show up in any software. This might be due to several factors, such as the USB3 chipset, USB power limitations, etc. However directly connecting to my motherboard's rear USB3 ports does work. What an issue, it had me stumped for a while. The color and resolution in both 4k and 1080p look great. I haven't directly compared it to my previous C920 (which, again, is still great), but several reviewers on YouTube have, and the color itself looks to be the same high quality. Note that this camera, when used in 4k, does get warm, but that's expected of 4k and other high-res cameras, as 4k recording uses more power. There's also software to download that lets you control the camera and test it, called "Logi Tune" at the time of this review, available from Logitech's site. To register the camera serial number to a Logitech account, please note that the serial shown in this app is likely incorrect. Instead, get the serial number from the camera itself, which is on the bottom. I had to pull out the tilt adjustment clip to find the serial number, as a rubber plug is holding the adjustment clip to the camera. The privacy shutter is separate, that just pops on and off the camera via friction.
