I bought this to replace an older Windows Hello camera with SD resolution. While the older camera was top of the line years ago, and still functioned well, the resolution on video calls was significantly less than others. So, after a lot of research, I settled on this camera, and it works very well. The resolution is truly 4K, and the autofocus and face tracking options are excellent. I like the fact that there is a physical cover for the lens (if you feel someone might be watching you, this eliminates the risk). And (this is mandatory), it works with Windows Hello (allowing you to unlock your computer with 3D facial recognition). I even tried to unlock my computer with a photo of myself, and no dice... Bottom line: Good value for high quality video work.
