These are awesome cameras, I bought 3 x5's for Gaussian Splatting and the x5 works great. I love that I can replace the lenses myself if they break or get scratched up. BUY YOUR OWN, GOOD SD CARDS! I did have an error about slow speeds with the SanDisk Extreme, but never any issues with the Extreme Pro. This only happened when shooting in 8k 30 and 5.7k 60... The low light sensors are almost as good as the one rs 360 1 inch version, but these are more water resistant, and I seem way more durable while being much lighter. Color and image quality is good, but there is still a hint of stitching even in post, so watch for that! All of that weight adds up on the end of a selfie stick, and this is much more portable then the 1inch model. Overall, this is a great camera, and a good price point!

amazing technology that provides clear, crisp, excellently reproduced video in an ingenious 360 format up to 8K resolution.... when you consider all of the things this tiny device can do, the price tag while not cheap, is certainly reasonable. we picked this thing up and took it overseas and within a couple of hours we were making our own videos and exploring different ways of creating content. the device is of very high quality and feels very solid in your hand despite its size. the extending stick in this bundle is also extremely well made and gives the user confidence that it's going to perform without fail. we also purchased a more rugged case to carry the camera in to protect its lenses and we are off and running.. we do a lot of motorcycle riding / hiking/walking in the cities and doing all sorts of stuff in our travels.. this is going to be a great piece of equipment to bring along for the ride.

I cant believe how good the Insta360 X5 Essentials Bundle is. I thought it would just be a fun toy but it ended up replacing almost every other camera I own. The stabilization is crazy good. I walked, ran, even held it out the car window and the video still came out looking smooth like I was floating. The 360 footage looks sharp and the colors are way better than I expected. The bundle has everything you need so I was filming in minutes. The app is pretty easy to use and the AI edits are actually helpful. Battery life has been fine for me and the camera feels solid in the hand. I like that the lenses are replaceable too because I do stupid things sometimes and this gives me peace of mind.

The media could not be loaded. I love it! Absolutely worth it if you do any action sports or even just vacations and traveling. Videos are crisp 4k and editing is super easy. I’m a complete new creator and I figured it out quick. It even has a AI edit that does a great job editing videos itself. Battery does drain fast like a hour or so. It’s a really high tech piece of kit with a lot of features like star lapse and time shift. I takes videos of me riding on my electric unicycle and hyper scooter and makes them highly dynamic with really sweet angles and great sense of speed. A+ piece of kit.

When I review a product, it is because I bought it myself with my own money. I don't generate reviews with Al or accept freebies from companies just to write fluff pieces. With that out of the way... As someone who produces video content for both personaand commercial use, I've worked with nearly every major action and 360° camera system on the market. The Insta360 X5 is the first one that truly bridges the gap between convenience and professional-grade results. Let's start with image quality. The 8K resolution paired with the bigger sensors delivers exceptionally clean footage, even in mixed lighting. I've used it for outdoor shoots, indoor interviews, and low-light environments, and the footage consistently holds up. Colors are accurate, dynamic range is surprisingly strong for a camera this size, and the PureVideo mode is a genuine leap forward in nighttime performance. What really makes the X5 stand out, though, is the post-production flexibility. With 360 capture, I can shoot first and choose my framing later. Yes, it's basicly Insta360's slogan, but it's a slogan that's actually true. This functionality (which is inherent in 360° cameras) is invaluable during run-and-gun shoots where reshoots aren't .an option. Insta360 Studio has matured into a powerful, reliable editing tool, and the mobile app is fast becoming a go-to when I need to deliver social-ready content quickly. Audio has also seen a big step up. The built-in micsare far more usable now, with better clarity and less wind distortion-a major win for those of us tryiing to minimize gear on the go.

Great camera and the mic is super impressive. If you need a vlogging camera, this could be a good option. I bought it as an addition to my other cameras to get unique footage in scenic locations. I've had it a week and have only used it a short time. The first day, I went out and did some test vlogging. The sound was as if I was wearing a mic! The video was very good. I also tried it for fireworks at night using the "pure video" setting. I wasn't too impressed with it. I also did a short test in a dimly lit parking lot and that turned out far better than the fireworks. Overall, it's a good camera. I found the PC software far easier to use than the phone app. Hopefully I can figure that out soon so I can put up some short clips. I wouldn't recommend a phone for longer videos as it's very demanding on the processor. One screenshot from the fireworks video and the other is direct export of a 360 image I took inside (only 2 photos to choose from currently - sorry).
