This camera is AMAZING. I’m not super tech-savvy, but once I figured it out, the Obsbot Tail Air totally leveled up my content. It follows me around the room, hits every angle with my presets, and makes everything look smooth and professional. I use it for my NikkiDenver.com shoots and it’s honestly become my new favorite gadget. The gesture controls are cool (just need a little fine-tuning), but everything else? Chef’s kiss. If you’re trying to stream, just make sure you allow it to access video and set it as your main input. Took me a minute to figure that out, but it’s totally worth it. 5 stars from me! Worth every penny.

Because the 4K resolution produces images that are both clear and vivid, it is ideal for video conferencing, live streaming, and the development of new material. This camera guarantees that every detail is captured with incredible clarity, whether I'm on a Zoom chat with coworkers or generating material for my YouTube channel. The tracking and auto-focus capabilities enabled by AI are two of the most impressive aspects of this camera. It is quite similar to having a personal camera already installed on the device. No matter how much I move about, the camera is able to follow my motions and keep me on the screen thanks to its clever tracking capabilities. This comes in very handy during presentations and video conferences, when I want to seem professional but don't want to have to modify the camera angle all the time. Even if I move around or if there are numerous individuals in the picture, the auto-focus can keep everything in perfect focus because of its lightning-fast speed and pinpoint accuracy. The quality of my video footage as well as the quality of my online meetings have been greatly enhanced by this function alone. Another fantastic improvement is that there are now twin omnidirectional microphones included. The recording quality is excellent, and it captures my speech with an impressive degree of precision while simultaneously reducing the amount of ambient noise. Because of this, the audio quality of my video conversations and recordings has greatly improved, and I am now able to talk successfully without the assistance of an additional microphone.

REVISED REVIEW: I have finally received communication regarding my OBSBOT TAIL AIR. The replacement camera arrived 5/24/2024, and my return shipping fees were reimbursed. This was accomplished through customer support agent Tessa Huang. The replacement TAIL AIR worked right out of the box and has outstanding features and functions, so I'm hopeful this camera will outlive the previous one. Thanks, Ms Huang, for wading through the confusion and resolving my issue. You've restored my confidence with your company. INITIAL REVIEW: This camera worked well for 3 weeks then it began displaying colored bars. I performed a factory reset without success. Amazon's return window ended 3 days before failure. Contacted OBSBOT customer service detailing the problem. Received email [email protected] requesting information about the Amazon sale, problem description, and screenshot of purchase. After submitting this information, I received an email saying they would accept the unit and send me a replacement. I sent the unit via USPS to: Carson Worldwide Inc.-Carson-RM-01 1005 Whitehead Road Ext. Ewing, NJ 08638 USA 848-2xx-xxx6 They said they would return a working unit and refund my shipping costs via Paypal. I provided the information they requested and the returned camera, which they received on 5/17/2024. On 5/18 I emailed [email protected] asking when the new unit would be sent and was told it would be shipped in a few days. I received no follow-up, so on 5/23/2024 I called the number to the location where I sent the camera. This is the reason for my review: The person who answered the phone told me he had no connection to the seller and had no idea if/when/how a replacement camera would come to me. He also said, "You're not the only one who hasn't heard of OBSBOT about now hearing from or receiving their replacement camera". He told me I should contact Amazon directly because they don't want to contact the seller directly. But Amazon already told me the return window expired 3 days before the camera failed. After reading the FB OBSBOT Tail Air group, It is clear that my camera's failure is not unique and is known by the company. Along with other reviews detailing camera problems, I'm not convinced this is a quality/reliable camera. If I hear from OBSBOT with confirmation of a working replacement unit being sent and me receiving it I'll update this review, but until then this review will stand. Currently, I do not recommend purchasing OBSBOT Tail Air, or the reliability of the company if the unit fails.
