Battery life is great. I use it 10 times a day and it last about 4 days. Adjusting takes time. The door does stick open sometimes. It would be nice to have a Battery life indicator. I would buy again. Best product for the price.

I ordered this to help with spot seeding of small bare areas in my lawn. In testing it worked well for me. I also used it to spread starter fertilizer in the same areas. For larger jobs I'll use my larger spreader. The spreader was easy to use, and didn't require any setup except to set the controls for the product you are spreading. The spreader has a number of adjustments to control the seed distribution: • A plate at the bottom of the hopper can be adjusted for the size of the seed. (The adjustment is by a control on the outside of the spreader) • The speed of the distribution wheel can be adjusted to control how far the seed will be thrown. • An edge-guard can be adjusted to control how far to the left the seed will be distributed. The spreader comes with two batteries and a charger, so you won't be stuck waiting to charge if the battery runs low on a large job. This spreader is an OK value - it's a bit more expensive than a few similar units, but uses rechargeable batteries instead of having to replace batteries, and comes with two batteries for continuous use even if the battery runs low. I withheld one star because I feel it's a few dollars over-priced. It appears to be well made. I expect it will hold up well if cleaned between uses and stored properly. (many fertilizers and salts are corrosive and can damage spreaders if not cleaned out between uses. Any device with a battery should have the battery stored in a place where it's not too hot or cold.)

Hanguda Electric Seed Spreader is the most convenient garden tool you never knew you wanted. You don't need it. BUT, if you've ever used a hand held seed spreader, it can be a little less than a smooth experience. This is an absolute pleasure to use. I don't get sweaty while using it, it just works and disperses the material nicely. I've used it for grass seed but also for lime rock pellets and I'm sure I'll give it a try for salt this winter. It comes with 2x 20v 2,000 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion batteries and wall charger. There's a size dial to adjust the broadcast opening and a dial at the base adjust the speed the broadcast wheel spins. It can hold up to 4 liters or just over a gallon of material. You can adjust the edgeguard to help with more directional dispersal.

Good quality hand held spreader. Took a little trial and error to get the distribution and spread rate correct but once I did, it worked great spreading fertilizer and weed killer to targeted areas. Convenient way to hit specific areas without having to pull out the larger broadcast spreader.
