I have a Metabo electric grinder(s) for serious grinding and cutting, but wanted the convenience of battery power for quick small tasks. While I have a decent set of Dewalt 20V max tools that I like, I don’t have their angle grinder and couldn’t justify the cost as I already had corded. This was affordable and unexpectedly within my budget, fits with my existing dewalt batteries and chargers, and does exactly what it claims. Have about 2 hours run time on it and really like it so far. I made the mistake of trying it with a 2AH battery initially, and found out that doesn’t work. When I realized it calls for 4, 5, or 6 and switched to 6AH battery it performed perfectly. For the cost, very nice tool.

Works good , sounds a bit rough though. Not as much torque as my dewalt but also a lot cheaper . If you just want one for light grinding and sharpening mower blades it will get the job done.

Great quality and much more affordable than the Dewalt option. Comes with some discs. Battery life was really good too. Has great power and speed. The weight of it was a nice surprise too. Felt very solid.

First grinder was defective: on/off switch stopped working. Seller promptly replaced first grinder. Second grinder now has same problem, but the return item for refund date has expired. I did not receive the usage and value for what I paid for the item. Buyer beware.

I gave 3 stars, only because it is weaker than I am used to. I does what I needed it to do, which was hook to my Dewalt batteries. I only use it for plap disks. It sounds weaker when grinding wheel or cutting wheel is used

This grinder does the job. I won't use an angle grinder much, so I'm not going to invest in a $200 unit. This fills the bill. Perfectly! And it uses my Dewalt batteries to boot. Note that there is no speed control, but this has not been an issue for me. Also, this tool uses up batteries faster than any other tool I own, including drills, router, reciprocating saw, and jigsaw. I get plenty of time, just not as much as on lighter duty tools. Given that it has performed well at every grinding task I have thrown at it, I haven't seen this as a limitation. Highly recoommended for DIY work around the house.
