This grinder is just what I needed to smooth surfaces on furniture I'm creating combining wood, glass and resin. The multitude of attachments make it easy to grind down to the shape wanted, and the storage bag offers a convenient way to keep all of the parts together. - 8500 RPM which is pretty low even for a battery-powered tool. Most grinders are 120,000 RPM. The grinder is slow to start even with a freshly charged battery. It picks up speed eventually but anything you do takes twice as long. I wouldn't recommend it even for the occasional weekend DIYer - Battery life is not impressive. If you're using the grinder on and off for cutting, the battery might last you a day. If you're doing continuous grinding, don't expect it to last more than a couple of hours. There's a reason they ship 2 batteries. At least the charger is pretty fast. - Quality. The grinder seems to be well-made. It's lightweight and easy to use - Usability is just bad. Other grinders have tons of usability features to make your life easier. Like storing the wheel wrench inside the handle so you don't lose it. Or having a quick release on the guard so you can quickly adjust it without tools. This grinder has none of that. This wouldn't be a deal-breaker if the grinder was more powerful or if the battery lasted longer. But all these flaws in combination make this a sub-par tool. Instead of purchasing this online, I recommend heading to your local Home Depot. Even Ryobi has better options at half the price.

I have been building a brick wall for the back of our outdoor kitchen out of 4x8x16 concrete blocks and have needed numerous blocks cut for length. Pulling a drop cord around is a pain (and somewhat dangerous next to our pool), so I picked this grinder up. I installed a diamond blade on it and found it extremely easy to use. The grinder takes a moment to speed up, but works well once it is up to speed. The grinder is light to use and I found the shaft lock lever comfortable to use. I used a freshly charged battery every day and never ran out of charge. Using the blade I did, the saw only cut a little over a inch into the blocks, but that was plenty for clean breaks. The grinder didn't struggle or kick back during use. Overall, I love this grinder and which I had picked it up long ago.

This is a great grinder that comes with all the accessories you need to get started plus a great carrying case. I had it setup and running in less than 5 minutes. The blade changes are easy and it comes with a few cutoff blades. It's great that there are two batteries because you can use one while recharging the other and never run out of juice. The only thing that was a minor issue for me is that the batteries were a little snug so they didn't effortlessly slide into place and were also a little difficult to remove. This is a very minor issue though. Also, the tool is advertised as 20v Max and are labeled so on the sides but the bottom of the batteries says 18v. So, I don't know what that's about. Overall, this is a very nice tool that would also make a great gift.

Haven't used it much so I can't speak on the battery life, but it's been great so far. It's powerful enough to grind down everything that I've used it on without seeing any loss of power due to the battery. Battery is a little tight and hard to take off.
