Works as intended. Easy installation, be sure to apply some dish soap on the track and top of rubber seal. Also, it's easier if one person pulls the seal along the bottom of the door while another feeds it into the track.

This seal worked perfectly on my garage door. Took a bit of research finding the type of seal I needed. There’s plenty of how to videos on YouTube. It does arrive flattened out for shipping, I just unfolded it out and left it in direct sunlight on my driveway and the heat from the sun and concrete “puffed” it back up. Installation is not hard, but it is easier with two people. One's to help feed the new seal into the door rail, the second to pull it down the length of the door. I was quoted $340 to replace it. Took about 45 minutes. Saved a bunch of money!

Good part but requires a little extra work to make sure it settles properly

It fits perfectly in the garage door metal groove throughout the length of the door. The way it was packaged made it difficult to properly seal and evenly seat on the floor, I had to flatten it out by putting tape on several areas to keep it firmly sealed. After a week or so it was perfect.

As others have said, these will not flatten as much as standard rubber seals because of the round piece molded in the middle. This is not easy to install. This is at least a two person job, if not a 3 person job. It takes alot of force to push/pull through the track on door. Even with cable silicone gel added to the track to make it slippery, it took my wife and me three hours to install. This is no fault of this seal. It's just the design of garage door seal attachments.

My husband had been trying to find something that would fit our garage door. He went looking to the local stores n had no luck. This product was perfect and reasonable price. I would advise to measure before you purchase but over all good quality thick and working great so far

Rubber seal permanently flat

I would think this product is as good as any of on the others. It was longer than I needed so I could cut off about 3 to 4 n he’s to fit my door. But the reason I left only a 3 is that because they have to send it it rolled up, it never reverted back to a nice round seal that when the door would come down it would make a nice even seal. I believe it does seal and will keep water out yet part of the door the seal flips out and part it flips in. I tried different methods to get it to lay properly but to no avail.

This was a great fit. The only drawback and it would be with any of the seals, is getting them to slide on the existing door. I would recommend getting a lot of soap and be patient.
