I have a garage door in my basement and the seal on the bottom of the door isnt in the best shape so I was looking for a quick easy fix and I found it.. Yesterday I went ahead and power washed the area where the stripping would be and I laid the roll of stripping out next to my wood stove with some pieces of wood sitting on any areas that were wrinkled and it Didnt take long for the heat and weight to straighten them out. Then this morning laid the strip out and marked the 2 edges so I knew where to keep the adhesive at. Before putting the adhesive down I took a little torch and went through and heated up the area between my pencil lines in order to draw any moisture out as well as to burn off any thing that could be to help get a cleaner surface for a stronger bond. I used rubbing alcohol to clean the bottom of the weather stripping. I put the adhesive down, flipped the weatherstripping back over onto the adhesive and I went through and firmly pushed down to get good contact between concrete,adhesive and stripping and to work out any air pockets. Then I closed the garage door and called it a day… as u can tell in the pics it started sprinkling/raining during the process but using the torch helped to mitigate that. The weather stripping hasnt allowed any water to come in and the adhesive started curing relatively quick. Great product. Would recommend. Anyone can install it. Even comes with step by step instructions

Looks first class. Put masking tape on rach side. Will prevent the silucone over pour. Pencil to hard to see on cement. Great investment...no more rain in garage

This product was remarkably easy to use. I also like that the seller included a couple extra feet, so I was less nervous about making the cuts to custom fit to my garage door. Seller was also generous with the adhesive, sending two tubes, when I didn't even need to use one full tube. My sole "complaint" is that the adhesive was black, so it shows against the gray concrete garage floor, in the few spots where I had to move the seal around to get it straight. Clear would have been a better choise, but it's just a small issue. I've now had no problems with water coming into the garage on heavy rain days. And although it keeps the water out, the profile is low enough that neither an aging dog nor I stumble over it.
