This works great. I was confused at what to do and it took a little while actually went on a review of the same item by different seller to figure out what to do. please read the directions all of it figure out what you're doing first 1. First look at the back of the device and write down all of the information on it or take a picture of it You will need that information. 2. then go into your phone settings and then go into the phone Wi-Fi (You must know your password to your Wi-Fi) 3. You're going to hit the button on the device just tap it and turn it on 4. Scan your Wi-Fi for the device. It will show up with a wifi- WC788 5. Connect that Wi-Fi with your Wi-Fi password 6. a screen should come up on your phone and you're going to type in the password " admin" which will then connect this device to your Wi-Fi. 7. After that you will then find your Wi-Fi name with the word PRO adds to the end . " your wifi name- pro" 8. You will then go to your new Wi-Fi name and click on that and enter your original password again that was your same password for your Wi-Fi before you bought the extender It took me about 20 minutes to figure all of this out. Did have to look for reviews on the same product by a different seller I didn't see that they have a product installation help function Thank God for others giving good reviews. The range is phenomenal. The speed is good there doesn't seem to be a lag. Before I can't even get TV to work in my bedroom that well and if I do I dare not use my phone. The connectivity took a minute but it's staying connected I'll let you know if anything goes wrong I'm very happy with this device and wish I would have bought this A few months ago when I moved here and had to change my Wi-Fi service I had AT&T fiber optic and now I have some garbage service here in Toledo

Mine works about 75 feet away from my router. It has to go through multiple walls and still works in my detached garage. Super easy set up. Between the dovise and my newer android all I had to do was plug in, select network and enter the password. Nice little gadget!!

The Amazon Haul deal is the 300Mbps version. There is a 1200Mbps version also. WiFi repeaters do work, including this one. The only thing is there is decreased speed as a result. It is a trade off. Range for speed. With the WiFi repeater, your signal will be more stable. The setup instructions were easy to follow and can be done from a smart phone or computer. It took me about 10 minutes to set up.

It has solved my coverage problem in the house. We had problems in the living room with the Smart TV because the images were not of quality and stopped or lasted a while to load the series due to the low internet signal that reached our living room situation that was resolved with this small but powerful device; easy to install and imperceptible in my black power strip. Excellent buy!!!

this extender has been nothing but a dream for our family, we have a doo doo wifi router that gives dead spots and cuts out randomly, this wifi extender revives the dead spots and when the wifi cuts out, when the wifi restores, it keeps the memory, it’s range is AWESOME! it could even work through walls and ceilings. it’s a steal and the instructions are AWESOME. for $19.99, its a STEAL.
