Sadly, I purchased this device because I recently discovered mice in my house. I read through reviews that said the red mode (for mice) made minimal to no noise to humans. This couldn't be further from the truth. Even a few rooms away, it was ear piercing. I'm just thankful my cat is deaf. I've tried the yellow mode (which is silent), yet still hear a mouse in the same room.

This product does not work. I noticed 2 mice in my house order the product. Placed all 6 devices in my house and a week later I am still seeing the mice. I am seeing the mice within a foot of the device and they act like there is nothing there.

The device is silent on yellow or blue but when on red you can definitely hear it. I'm not sure of the efficiency yet this is strictly on the noise.

During the warmer months, our garage becomes a bit of a magnet for crickets, spiders. I hope use these devices to cut down on the crickets that seem to enjoy chirping all night. I liked that this came in a pack of seven, so I was able to place one in each corner and a couple near the garage door where bugs usually sneak in. The devices are simple to use, just plug them in and they start working. There's a small light and a subtle buzzing sound, but it's quiet enough that I don’t really notice it once I leave the garage. So far, the crickets haven’t totally disappeared, and I still hear them sometimes, especially after a rainy day, but less in totally than last year.
