It will allow you to read an eBook with NOTHING else running in the background for around 3 hours before it needs to be charged again. This is with internet and bluetooth turned off and the unit in battery saver mode - so nothing could possibly be running. 3 hours is a total joke for "extra long battery life." The core heats up to burning your skin if you try to watch a news clip and have the unit resting on exposed skin. It's a budget tablet, but I won't make the mistake of buying from this company again.
