Product broke after a couple of months. Split on the seem and leaked massive amounts of water. Had to refill my pool. Contacted seller told me they could give me 30% of what I paid, even though it is still under warranty. They recommended using an AB glue which is an epoxy glue. Which did not work. The device was not easy to install the hoses that come with the unit are of low quality material and need to be switched out.

I found that if I put my filter timer on every 2 hours in the day time it gives the water a chance to heat up more for 2 hours and substantially heated the water up faster that way. We really like it! It is working out great! This is the first time I have ever been able to swim in early April! We even had. Late snow and I was back in the pool 2 days later.

So far have just hooked up the panels to my system. The hoses and connections provided are not what I would classify has higher quality. I will provide an update after I put the unit in service. Ok got the unit in service heats water well but the connections that come with the unit are junk. Hoses are garbage and connections just never quite stop leaking. Making it work with different connections and hoses.

They leak at all the ports no matter how much tape you put around the hoses. No mayter how much you tighten valves it still leaks water out.

I tried everything to get these to work. I tried two different pumps. I bought extra plumber's tape. I bought my own tubing that fit the outlets/inlets on the panels better. Nothing worked. I managed to get the leaks down to a slow trickle, but it did nothing to heat the water. I checked the temperature of the water output and the best I got was a 1 degree F improvement. Unfortunately, I tried too hard to get it to work and now I have missed the return window by two days. TLDR: I could not get it to stop leaking. It did not work to raise the water temp. It has too short a return window.

Leaks are unstoppable due to cheap plastic attachment points. I tried RTV and also pool putty and nothing worked, don’t buy, I’m out $300 for these pieces of junk. Another wonderful Chinese made rip off product. DONT BUY

The hose connections are about 1-1/4"? When you tighten them up around the tapered (yes, tapered, not barbed), they leak on each side of the worm gear on the hose clamp. The only connection that doesn't leak is where I joined two of these together with 1.25" ID clear vinyl hose that I bought separately. It looks like that's the solution at $6.59 /ft... Shop for a better solar heater, ppl!

Absolute junk. Leaks water everywhere. One panel had two holes in the back of it and none of the hose connections seal even with the super cheap teflon tape they include in the kit.
