This is an amazing bang for the buck sub. Installed under the back seat of a 2001 F150 super crew. This thing hits very hard for what it is, and fit perfectly under the back seat. This is honestly about as loud as id want to go in the cab of my truck, the bass is smooth when set up right, and the kit came with everything needed to get it going. If you have basic mechanical, and wiring knowledge for automotive, installation is very easy. Took a couple hours between running all the wiring and getting it all hidden behind paneling. Tempted to buy another for another of my cars.

I was using this to replace another similar one that was having some issues, so everything was already there with the wiring, but it was nice they did include all that stuff you needed to wire it up. I'll set that stuff aside for another project. It was almost the exact same size as the one I replaced so that worked out nicely. First thing I noticed when I connected the wires, and the main power wires are run directly to an auxiliary battery using the radio trigger wire to turn it on, anyway the moment I put the power wires in, the LED light came on. Which means it would stay on all the time when the car was off and potentially fun the battery down. For my purpose this was going under the back seat of a pickup in that storage area, so the LED light was not of use to me and I didn't care about it. But I did have to go ahead and install the app just to turn it off. I played with it a bit while I was doing that and it seems to work well for all the ways you can manipulate the LEDs. I also noted that despite me having it on solid red in the app, it looked more toward the pink spectrum on the speaker. Once I got it all hooked up and got to test it, this thing is surprisingly loud given both the speaker size and the box size. Took me some fiddling with the adjustments to get a decent match with the rest of the sound without overpowering. Even not on full gain, with the sub volume controller included, turned up all the way it will overshadow the rest of the sound, and it will also vibrate everything nicely. The control is a nice size, and easy way to adjust depending on whether you just want to feel that bass drum a little more, or you're playing something with some really deep base. Everything set to personal taste though right? The overall build quality felt really great. My previous one also had a spider "grill" on it, but it was flimsy enough you could bend it by hand. I accidently did when I installed it, enough to contact the speaker actually. So I tested that on this one and it was much sturdier. So a plus there! One thing I noted I liked over my previous one was the volume control, on my other one it had a bigger and extremely bright blue LED, so much so it was very distracting at night and I found myself trying to cover it up all the time. This one is much more subdued and just about right in my opinion. No one is expecting to win contests or change heart rhythms with an sub/amp combo like this, but it's not designed for that. It's made for those wanting to get more low end out of their system and be able to stick that in a small space, and this does both nicely, and will probably surprise you with how good it actually is. I still don't know how they get that much bass out of such a small enclosed box, but I'm glad it works.

This subwoofer amazed me. The bass is rich and powerful, and the RGB lighting adds an excellent atmosphere to my car. Easy to install, all necessary accessories are included in the packaging box. I really enjoy being able to directly control the equalizer and lighting through the application. It perfectly upgraded my SUV - it really enhanced my driving experience. high quality and inexpensive!
