I’ve been using the 21 Fitness Resistance Band with the 4-tube pedal design for a few days now, and I’m impressed with how convenient it is. The setup is simple—just slide your feet into the pedals and start working your arms and legs. It isn't a gym workout but it’s lightweight and provides a decent amount of resistance. It provides a decent arm workout and a sit-up assist. There are recommended exercises and you can probably come up with others on your own to target specific areas. Foot straps need to be bigger to fit your feet in if you’re wearing shoes. Works better if you just wear socks while using it.

So years ago, in a fitness class, we did a modification of the pilates double leg stretch. It was a killer for the abs. If you look at the lead photo for this item, you can get an idea of this exercise - only the butt is on the floor, torso and legs are up. Extend the legs, lean back with your torso. This is one of the best abs exercises ever! And this device adds some resistance and helps stabilize your back. Yes, the material is a little flimsy, and the extra figure 8 band is of limited use (I’ll still use it for travel), but I was so very happy to find this item - a throw back to the days when I had such awesome abs that they were even featured in an exercise video. Yes, if you want an affordable tool that is very effective for building strong abs - this is the one!!!

I started my fitness journey this year and turned part of my bedroom into a mini home gym. Since I’m an introvert with a clingy dog who refuses to let me work out solo, I thought this resistance band with handles would be the perfect addition: compact, portable, and simple. But when it arrived, I realized it felt less like fitness equipment and more like a dollar store pool toy. The foam is light, cheap, and not dense at all. The “resistance” was almost laughable — I got more of a workout wrestling with the packaging than actually using the bands. Every pull made me worry it was about to snap back and smack me in the face, which is not the kind of strength training I signed up for. For anyone considering this: The material feels flimsy and unreliable. The resistance is weak and won’t challenge your muscles. It doesn’t help with stretching or toning — unless you count the patience it takes not to toss it straight in the trash. On top of that, it feels like such a waste of resources: fuel for shipping, factory pollution, and packaging for something that isn’t useful. Even my dog, who usually loves stealing my workout gear, sniffed it once and walked away unimpressed.

I love traveling and at the same time I love to workout everyday. Not all places I stay has fitness facility so I have been doing exercises like Jog-in-Place, pushups and a few other things that can keep my body happy. I came across this resistance band and I thought it may be a good idea for travel use. What I like: ========= -Good for traveling use, very light weight, mostly constructed by foam (handles) and rubber (bands), definitely not afraid to be compressed in an overstuff luggage. -Can be used for many exercises that one can create or imagine. What I don’t like: ============= -The whole thing looks like a toy and feels like a toy. The rubber bands are on the lighter duty side. I am not a big guy, 5 ft 7 135lb and I could use more resistant to be effective for my routine especially for the legs and upper arms exercises. I do love it for crunches; it serves as a great “assistant”. -Due to the light resistant nature of the bands, they are good for “maintaining” muscle tone rather than building muscle – something to tie me over while traveling. -The handle bar is too short for upper arms exercises such as curls. Both hands are forced to be very close to each other while holding the bar, for something like palms-down Pull-Ups is fine but is not too comfortable for palm-up curls or any routine requiring palms-up grip. -The foot loops are too small for athletic shoe of any size. I wear size 8.5 and my shoes could not insert through the loop pass the toes line (see photo). The only way to get a secure foot hold of the foot strap is to use without shoes. Unfortunately, the foot rests are too skinny to stand on comfortably especially when I am doing pull-up. Summary: Good for pre-workout or pre-game warm up and traveling use but not a very effective muscle building tool.

Very easy to use, super lightweight as it’s made of foam and rubber and for that reason I don’t trust that this product will hold up long term, unfortunately. I bought another product and the quality is WAY better and durable.

I thought I’d try these to see if they worked the way they should. I have been trying them and they seem to work. However, I am living in my mother’s house right now, and it makes it really hard to exercise and do any kind of stretching. In about 2 1/2 weeks, I get my house and I should be able to do a lot more then.. At that time, I will probably be able to take some pictures and be able to demonstrate how they work. They look like they are durable. They anre easy to use and I’m hoping they worked the way they’re supposed to. Additionally, if you don’t have a whole lot of room, these don’t take up a lot of room so they make it very easy to store and to be able to get them out when you need them and put them away when you don’t.
