  • Super cheap, easy to use and maintain. Great solution to cut down on the pool labor.
The media could not be loaded. Compared to the robot design that uses cords, this is 1000% better. Battery lasts about the 90 minutes they say, it never gets stuck, handles curved walls and reverses at the right times. Gets all the sand, rocks, leaves, and dead bugs down to the granular level. Very good design that is very simple and should provide a long life of usage. Pays for itself after the first few uses. It does park itself next to a wall which makes for easy retrieval. Couldn't be happier with the purchase. Even when it breaks, I'll be buying the same thing. Hopefully it lasts at least a year, then that would be acceptable lifespan for the cost. We use our pool year round so it's going to be going out every couple of days and thus running nearly 200 cycles a year. The only known limitation to be aware of is that it won't clean the walls like some "corded robot versions". That's a small price to pay considering the cost is so much less and it does a great job. I also noticed that when you use this thing every couple of days, the overall water quality is better and more clear, thus the walls don't need to be scrubbed as often either. My algae has been less of an issue as well now that it's keeping all the bugs and plant debris out at a more regular schedule. Highly recommend this little pool robot. TIP: don't store it wheels down for too long, it will bend the brush and then you might not get as good of performance. I bought a spare brush (for when the original wears out) and store the entire robot suspended on a bucket so the underside brush doesn't get bent up while it's charging and being stored. ... show more

  • Very nice auto cleaner
I have a large above ground pool. We have tried various cleaning solutions but we have a problem with leaves. If we use a pump based vacuum, even with 2 skimmers, leaves work their way into the pump impellet and it has to be disassembled to clean. I bought this vacuum, although it seems a bit pricey. However, I have been very satisfied with it. Now, this thing wont pick up 25 lbs of leaves from a filthy pool, but it will scoop up a fair dinkum. It runs for about an hour before shutting off. It is rechargeable in a couple hours. It scoops up leaves and such onto a screen grate on the bottom that just pops off to clean. Other than the fact that the unit is not particularly small, it is easy to clean. I gave it 1 star for remote since it does not have a remote. You have to lower it into the pool to start and then retrieve it. It parks itself against the wall so it is easy to retrieve. This is a great product to keep the bottom free of small to moderate amounts of debris without clogging your pump. Also, I want to give the company kudos for product support. Mine stopped working after a couple months. After a bit of troubleshooting back and forth by email, it was determined that the motor had failed. They shipped me a new motor and it took about 20 minutes to remove and install the new motor. I could do it in 10 now that I know there are no tiny parts that might fall out. Just 4 screws and swap the module and put the screws back in. Customer support was very helpful and professional. The replacement has worked without a hitch. ... show more

  • easy to use, cleans fairly well, wish battery lasted longer
i'd really like to give this 5 stars but im going to nit picky on a few things. 1 the battery needs to last longer. i understand this is under water working really hard to clean but man just 30 more minutes would be nice. its easy to clean and easy to set up and easy to recharge etc. the suction is pretty good, seems to not get as much sand as an electric unit would get thus 4 stars for suction. all in all for the price and how well it works it was worth getting it for the ease and not mess w cords. my pool is an inground saltwater fiberglass shell pool and it works pretty well. this unit will only clean the bottom! it wont do sides or the shelf around the pool. if you want a cheaper easy unit to use that just cleans the bottom in around an hour or so before using or showing off then this fits the bill. ... show more

  • It works okay until it didn’t work at all
I bought this pool vacuum for my new pool in January 2022. It worked good for about 4 months then started giving trouble (hard to turn on and off, dying quickly after a full charge, not pick up as much debris in the pool). Then it just stopped working altogether. Contacted Aiper and customer service reps were nice but I didn’t agree with what they told me they could do to resolve the issue. My two options were: they would send me a new motor or renewed item. They said: “The 90% renewed item is replaced all the broken parts and has little scratches on the surface.” See the second pic in my review which is the renewed item that is clearly missing parts and is discolored compared to my new one that has no missing parts and looks new but is no longer working. Perhaps, I should’ve requested the new motor and find someone to diagnosis it to see if the motor was the problem and replace the motor instead of believing them when they said that the renewed item wouldn’t have missing parts. Very disappointed and now it seems I’ll have to find and pay someone to fix my original vaccum rather than using this subpar replaced one. Very disappointed. ... show more

  • Quick, Easy Great Pool Cleaner
I one I purchased was the old model (not upgraded). Very easy to use with great results every time. You simply charge it, set it in the pool, turn it on and allow it to sink down to the bottom. Once it is finished, pull it up to the surface with the cord and then remove it from the pool with both hands. Immediately after I pulled it from the pool I cleaned the screen and bottom collector. Once everything dried out all you have to do is charge it and it is ready to go again. Most of the time I use it every other day but you could use it daily depending on how well people cleaned their feet before entering the pool. I did have an issue with mine, but I sent a message to the company and they immediately took care of my issue. I think the only thing I really had an issue with was the not tying a good knot on string with the handle and it would come loose from time to time. I do not have a permanent pool so if your not sure it will work, it does. ... show more
