I don’t love this handheld, and for the price tag of $50 I there are much better options out there. Starting off, it comes in a nice box and a good unboxing experience, but the YoimJoyFun branding is ridiculous and shouldn’t even be on the box, let alone on the front of the handheld. The buttons don’t feel good, ABXY are fine and soft press, shoulder buttons are really bad and hard to press, no travel just a click. D-pad is okay probably the best thing on the device, analogue sticks are sliders like the Original PSP, which I don’t enjoy using. And home buttons are really clicky low travel. The device has an odd screen print of a screenshot of a game on the front which looks really blurry and makes the device look cheap, it should have just been black it would have been better. Booting up the device, you have a final fight splash screen which is odd, getting into the UI it is also generic, at least has a search that works well, and a good selection of games which I was happy about, you can find some classics here like GBA Mario kart. Comes with a packed 64GB microSD which is nice. The screen looks not that great, it is sufficient but not impressive, really bright but washed out colors. Sound is also okay but not great. Some games play great on this, like GBA, others not so much I found the Arcade games are stretched to the screen and no obvious way of changing it to not stretch and use the original aspect ratio. UI is pretty clunky and slow, device feels very plastic not high quality and not $50 in my opinion.
