I bought this portable waistband fan for my boyfriend who works outside all day doing blue-collar work, and he absolutely loves it! It’s been a total game-changer for staying cool during long, hot days on the job. The fan clips easily to his belt or waistband, stays in place while he’s moving around, and provides a great breeze exactly where he needs it. Charging is super simple and quick—it charges easily via USB, and the battery life is solid depending on the speed setting. There are four speed settings, which is awesome for customizing airflow. He usually sticks to level 2 or 3, since higher speeds drain the battery faster, but even at those middle settings, it gives enough power to keep him cool without needing to recharge constantly. It’s lightweight, durable, and doesn’t get in the way while he works. Whether he's out in the sun or in a stuffy indoor space, this fan makes a big difference. I purchased this product to use on a family trip to Japan in June. Believe me when I say that this fan kept me going on all of our day trips as a heat wave arrived in the middle of our trip. The fan itself worked well: It have 4 speeds that are selected using a single button that you press repeatedly for each speed. The fastest speed is a bit on the loud side, but at the end of the day, who cares if you're getting a steady breeze. The fan has two clips to allow you to clip to your bottoms/pants/skirt, and another to hold your top so that it can blow wind easily into the space between your body and your shirt. But it also comes with a lanyard that allows you to hand it around your neck to blow directly into your face. You could in theory also clip to your fanny pack or cross body. Overall, I would highly recommend this fan if you don't want to hold a fan in your hand the whole time you use it. It worked well, and the battery held a charge throughout the day.

Fan is great and did a good job, but it is a little bit bulky. Also, when I had it on my bag, it didn't always blow air on me. Would probably work great on your pants waistband, I just didn't try it there. The battery life is great!

It works but after a couple weeks wow does this thing make an annoying high pitch and rattles as the plastic fan blades sound like they rattle against the very thin walled housing. It still works but you need to make sure you wear hearing protection if you are going to use this at anything other than the lowest speed. I use hearing protection when doing lawn work so I can tolerate the noise even though you still hear the loud noise this fan makes even with ear protection. I suspect it is a very flimsy plastic the fan blades are made from as well as a paper thin side walls on the fan housing that cause all the issues so definitely a case of you get what you pay for. You are better of spending a little ore and getting a higher quality fan. I bought a different brand Koonie now that is much better made and not quite as loud but still loud if worn as a neck fan with the included straps.

It does get loud if you put it on 3 or 4 but on just 2 alone I ran it all day like straight out the box. It does keep you cool, isn't as cool when youre in the heat obviously because its just a fan but, as long as youre sweating and that fans on it it'll save you a little more from a heat stroke. It is Bulky can't leave that out, its not small but it is lightweight no batteries so rechargeable, on the bulk side of it, it was a little hard for me to find a good spot, but I was able to and it stayed there didn't move much only when I bent down because my shirt would slip off the clip but still it ran great, and I was a little happier throughout the day. They do throw in a cool like strap for it too, I haven't tried it yet, but I'm sure that'd be good for if you were a driver of some sorts and dont have much ac it'd be perfect, because the way the air comes out the machine its focused more allowing for more direct airflow
