This fan works great! I've purchased different small portable fans in the past but this is by far the one that works the best! Even though the fan is small, the air speed is just enough that it keeps you cool and doesn't get in your way. I'm so glad I purchased this fan because it's been so hot lately that I'm using it almost everyday. It's rechargeable and lasts a long time. I had it on for hours and it stayed charged. I liked it so much, I bought another one to keep at work. It was worth the purchase!

Learned about this when visiting Hong Kong. Walking to work in the scorching heat in a suit is brutal and getting into work at the start of the day dripping sweat sucks. This was reccomended as you wear it on back belt under your jacket and air blows upwards keeping your back dry. Was going to buy in HK but was more expensive than Amazon. Used it this summer with the crazy heat. Having a 25 min walk to work in the city it did help my back from being soaked in sweat. On high power it's a little loud, a high pitch whine but it's to be expected, lower power worked well and is quiet. Took it to an amusement park and used it pointing up towards face with the cord and does help cool waiting in line baking in the sun. Small enough to toss into a pack and weighs nothing. As for charging and battery life I usually charged it on the weekend and got me through the week to and from work.

I sweat like crazy just going up a couple stairs so it is safe to say that I was dreading my trip to Disney World in Florida as the temperatures are extremely hot there in the summer. I decided to purchase this waist fan and I am so glad I did. I used the fan in a couple of different orientations. Under my shirt on my waist band, around my neck with the included lanyard, and on my backpack shoulder strap pointing at my face. This fan lasted literally ALL DAY. I was so surprised that it lasted that long. I ran it on full speed our entire day at each park and it helped keep me nice and cool feeling. Though I was still sweating a lot, this fan really helped keep the heat off me and seriously felt great. My wife was jealous that I had it even after she thought I was crazy for bringing it. So glad I did. Such a great product and super lightweight. The fan was subjected to my all day sweat and never gave up working. I really enjoyed this purchase and I recommend you get one if you want to stay nice and cool in the hot sun or doing any activity.

Great portability, very sturdy, battery lasts a little less than a 10hr work shift. However the air flow speed / output makes up for that. Pretty comfortable to wear not heavy and simple to clip on to a belt or wear around your neck so it fits very nicely. It does make noise that others can hear but it's not overly loud. Would recommend perfect for factory work.

TLDR: This fan is very nice for cooling yourself off, if you naturally sweat. It is not an AC so yes, it will blow hot air but if you’re sweating and in a place where there is no ventilation, moving air feels better than no moving air at all. The fan can be bulky, but its power, and battery at lower levels makes this fan hit all the marks as a cheap and easy to use portable fan. Full review: I'm a chef who lives in Arizona and as the summer has rolled around it has become increasingly more difficult to keep myself cool in a hot kitchen while it’s also very hot outside. The temperatures in my workplace can exceed 100°F and can leave you absolutely drenched in sweat. I haven’t gone about trying other personal portable fans, but this one for its price is quite nice. First off, despite the fan being quite small, its four modes are quite enough to blow a substantial amount of air. I’ve found that this fan does quite well if you’re the type to sweat a lot, which can easily evaporate your sweat and leave you far cooler than expected. The battery lasts just fine, and I haven’t really found many times where I’ve had to stop and charge it unless I’m running it on max for an extended period of time. However the fan does take a bit of time to charge, around 20-30 mins from what I’ve seen. It isn’t too bad if you charge it before going out. Though the upside is that it can be charged and used at the same time- so if you have the ability to set it up on a desk or table while it charges and still get air it works just fine. Power wise, it isn’t going to blow your hair back like it’s some type of dyson hair drier, but if attached to the collar of a shirt pointed at your face, or the base of the pants directed up the back it will give plenty of air to cool you off. You will have to be careful with positioning since the fan draws air in from the bottom and vents it out through the top, so if clothing blocks the bottom intake, you won’t get any airflow. That can easily be solved by clipping the fan on an area away from loose clothing, or bundling up the clothing so it doesn’t cover the intake. You can’t expect the air to hit your face from your waist- that’s crazy. Noise wise, on the first two levels they aren’t too loud. Though the third and fourth levels can be a little noisy, but doesn’t bother me as the sound gets drowned out in a busy kitchen. The sound on max is about as loud as hearing a vacuum in another room. It’s a noticeable hum, but not nearly as loud as other reviews say. Lastly, for comfort the fan isn’t too bad at all. It is a bit bulky and the clips to attach to clothing aren’t the best. The fan works best when pointed DIRECTLY at what you want to cool, and at times moving around can shift the fan away from its desired position. I also wouldn’t recommend using the outer clip as it doesn’t hold strong enough to clip onto thin material and does better clipping onto a thicker more grippy material like leather.At the moment I’m working on developing a stabilizer and attachments for the fan to upload for others to be able to 3D print.
