I have very fine and thin hair with just enough curl it frizzes with moisture and a little wind. SO finding a tool that adjusts temperature well and is easy to use (I am older woman) is a huge deal. This brush is very nicely made, not too heavy and offers a large choice of settings. The brush really does smooth your hair nicely. I do not use it to totally dry my hair so I start at about 90% dry. If you have two teens using this it’s worth the price to buy a 2nd one which is just what I’m doing. I originally bought this for kid 2 because kid 1 already had a similar item. I bought this brush to replace a similar one that fell and broke. Seems great for my wavy, frizzy hair. I let my hair air dry if I have time. Then I’m done with freeze free straight hair in 5 minutes. It is not a hair dryer and I did not expect one. You brush your hair in parts almost as you’d do with a normal brush. Before I bought this one I bought an electric comb that seemed to be the newest technology. It was not as good as this brush, I had to grab small pieces of hair and pull them into the tooth since the spaces on the comb were tight.
