When my job gave me a laptop for work, I gave my laptop to a partner. Their computer had stopped working and I had two, but was only using one. Real realize that I needed a place to store my personal things, I want to look for a replacement for my laptop. Ultimately I want something that was much more portable and could stand in as a laptop when I want to carry one. And this is it. Adding a foldable keyboard and a high-quality haptic mouse, and I had a remote set up that was light fast enough I am much more enjoyable to engage with. We all know Apple does things great, usually. I picked this up refurbished from Amazon right at the time when the 2024 model has just been announced. I needed at least a terabyte of storage and was contemplating cellular, options that took the 2024 iPad’s price to almost $1800 before taxes. Amazon refurbished offered a one terabyte cellular model for just over $900. I added a 3 year warranty to have a bit of piece of mind in case the refurb needed some work. After almost 4 months, I am very happy with it. Power went out yesterday, and didn’t even notice because of cellular. Also it comes with lidar which I was looking forward to using for development of AR applications. All in all it’s a beast in a small package, a honey badger. Add in the ability to connect a PS5 controller and play Warframe (or whatever game you like) directly, and it changes the game. I spent 3 months in Europe each year and last year I packed my PS5, not the easiest thing to travel with! Now I packed my iPad and a PS5 controller. Playing video games on top of my carryon suitcase while waiting for a plane, never was happier when we had a “delay”. ... show more

For 739.70 I received a iPad wrapped in bubble wrap in a cardboard box with a dollar store cable not to mention it was a day or two late. I could have got the tablet for 120.00 more brand new I guess we live and learn. Definitely don’t recommend unless you just need one for this price.
