I was initially skeptical about getting a used iPad. However, this one came up on sale and it was renewed premium, so I decided to take a chance, and I am so happy! This iPad came to me in excellent excellent condition. The screen is flawless, the body is 99% flawless, with only super tiny dings that are genuinely not noticeable (I’m one to notice these and i actually have to look hard to see them). I was worried about the battery life, and renewed premium promises >90% battery health. I allowed Apple to do a battery diagnostic, and Apple told me the health was at 95%! This is phenomenal health, and overall the product was exactly as promised. Flawless screen, practically flawless body, 95% battery health, all at a big discount compared to a brand new iPad. As for the iPad itself, the M2 chip is fantastic today still. It’s plenty of power, and it actually offers more GPU power than the M3 in the iPad Air because the Air has a binned GPU core. ProMotion is fantastic and Face ID is a game changer. Im very happy with this and I will recommend amazon renewed to my friends going forward.

So far, everything looks good. Physically, the product looks like new—the iPad arrived in perfect condition, very well protected, and works perfectly. The battery level also looks great. The only issue is that it said it came with a charger, but it didn’t. The box only included a USB-C cable, but not the charging brick.

I bought this renewed premium because I wanted to be secure about the condition of the iPad. The iPad’s body was perfect but it had a blue line in the screen. It looks like the ink on the screen was bad. I don’t know how the standards work for renewed premium but I think it is more luck than anything. I’ll start the return of the iPad.

So here's the deal, if you're trying to decide. Other reviews made this feel like a 60/40 proposition to me. 60% chance of getting a legitimately like-new product; 40% chance of being disappointed. BUT... "I can always return it if I end up in the 40%" is what I thought. That made it worth trying to save pretty close to $400 off of a brand new M2. I was NOT disappointed. This came like new, very unnoticable blemishes, the worst being the basically unremovable sticker Amazon Prime Refurbs place on the product. (C'mon guys... there are better options for these stickers.) And battery life thus far has not disappointed. If you can live with that one disappointment (the sticker), you can't go wrong here, either way. (The price has increased $120 from what I paid as of this writing -- I would take that to mean your chances of getting a like-new unit are even greater than 60% at about a $200-$250 savings.)

It’s physically in great condition but it’s fighting me on the setup, but that could just be me. I will update to higher/lower once I get it up and running.

First time buying a "renewed" device, and I couldn't be more pleased. I had a bit of trepidation as I pondered making the purchase, but I'm glad I pulled the trigger. The iPad Pro (4th generation) works perfectly and looks brand new, and I saved a bundle over a new one. BTW, I did splurge for "Premium", and have no regrets.
