I was surprised how well this light perform. I have been using it for about a week. The battery last a pretty good time. More than 2 hours on my test - also comes with AC adapter and I can use it plugged in, which is convenient. It comes with a carrying case, and standing legs. Panel and controls are pretty intuitive, I also paired with the app on my phone. Super snappy, simple interface, clear controls and very responsive. I also purchased the bracket extension, that let me use it horizontally and also comes with a strong magnet. Make it super versatile Honestly, you can’t go wrong with this light. It’s great. For the price and value. Get 2. You won’t regret it

Sutefoto TP25 Love this light! I have been using led lights in my photography and video productions for well over 10 years and I have been really pleased with their performance. Recently, I bought some “square” form factor RGB lights and noticed that the intensity is greater towards the center. To eliminate that, you need to pull the lights farther away from your subject (whether human or object) but that reduces your light intensity and then you have to increase your ISO to accommodate the lower light. I laughed a few years ago when I saw the light wands on the market and thought it was gimmicky. But recently, took another look at them and decided to give them a try. Much to my surprise, these things are awesome. The design eliminates the hot spot in the center and smooths out the light for a much more natural look. I have noticed that alot of images online have a harsh – very direct light which results in an unnatural effect. With these Sutefoto wands, you can create very subtle light that looks more natural while still illuminating the subject. I also like the fact that the entire length (minus the end caps) provide illumination with no bright spots. These lights create an even-smooth light through the entire length. Many wand lights on the market have a handle design which allows for only about 16” of light, whereas the Sutefoto TP25 has light for 22.5”. Pros: Read above Cons: The FX mode starts at 10%, and that doesn’t sound like much, but these things are so bright, it is difficult to set a low ambiance set. I need to figure out a way to diffuse the light even more than the white diffuser that is inside the light. While the backlit screen is large enough for the adjustments, the characters are way too small. There is enough screen real estate to have larger numbers. This would be an easy firmware upgrade if they can do that. Recommendations to Manufacturer: Would be nice for future versions to have a separate button that has dedicated primary colors. Thinking Red, Green, Blue (at least) Also be able to display multiple colors at the same time, however I haven’t given this much thought, they do accomplish this with Red and Blue in one of their FX effects where half is red and half is blue, but that is flashing only. Firmware upgrade capability would be nice. The light can be controlled via Bluetooth, so it would be cool if they could provide a firmware upgrade via Bluetooth. Increase the size of the text on the control screen. It would be good if the battery was able to be user changed. Most rechargeable batteries have a life of 3-5 years, which means that when it’s battery reaches end of life, the light will become useless. So maybe they have batteries available and maybe they have a disconnect connection inside, but I didn’t take mine apart to see. Conclusion – Suggestion: I will be producing a video on our acepics channel in the near future for even more details about this awesome light. While I currently do not have an affiliate arrangement with the manufacturer or with Amazon, I strongly recommend this product to add to your equipment list. In fact it would be good to have more than one!
