I LOVE this desk! The only negative thing I can say is that there are a lot of steps involved in putting it together but the pictures and instructions are pretty easy to follow. The desk is just beautiful, it’s very sturdy and should last forever. I was worried that I wouldn’t have quite enough room to work on this desk but it is a lot larger than I thought it would be. I love the finish of it, the large drawers and the barn style are perfect. It got here quickly and even several days earlier than I expected. I am loving this desk and I think it is reasonably priced.

I ordered this desk for my husband who is in a wheelchair. So he would be able to roll under it without his knees hitting. It’s the perfect fit. I’ve put many many products together over the years and this was by far the easiest one. It took me approximately 4 houses to do it but everything fit together perfectly and all the holes lined up etc! I waited for the moment when that didn’t happen and I would have to figure out what was wrong but that moment never happened. The directions are basically just pictures with letters or numbers on which piece or screw to use. So my husband looked at the book and told me what to grab and I went to work. He said the pictures were pretty detailed and easy to follow. There were a few pages that we questioned but after looking at the pieces it was easy to figure out. The desk is very sturdy and beautiful. Very well made. We did have to contact the seller because the first desk we ordered was “undeliverable “ and fedex sent it back. Must of been damaged. I contacted seller from Amazon and they answered immediately and apologized and as soon as the other desk made it back, they sent a new one. It did take a bit to get here but there was no hurry on our end. I would highly recommend this desk. Especially if in a wheelchair like my husband.

I needed a smaller desk and this fit the bill. I knew the measurements. Width and length and they were just what I needed. What I didn’t measure was the height. This didn’t say Student desk so I assume that is a standard height for this size. Just needed to lower my chair and get use to it. I did this as a one man job, would have been better with two. Unpacking it and carrying the pieces up a flight of stairs along with cleaning up the packaging took an hour. Assembly was not difficult at all, just time consuming. Over 100 screws and pegs to install. It did not have enough glue but I had my own. Two pieces were missing the pilot holes so I had to drill them but it all came together well. One quirk was the file drawer. It had and adjustable rod for hanging files but it was still too large. Not U.S. sized. I’ll need to drill two more holes. The site calls one color “Cool Black” which is what I ordered but it is definitely not greyish like the listing but it looks fine. So bottom line, some surprises, some quirks and a couple QC blips, but for the price it is definitely worth it. Looks nice, seems sturdy (Well engineered) and definitely a good price.

The package arrived on time and great condition. It took several hours to assemble but was well worth it. It is exactly what my son needed for his tv screen, laptop, printer, and storage. It appears sturdy, good height, lots of space for his studies and entertainment.

This is actually one of 11 pieces of furniture that I have now purchased from JXQTLINGMU for my home. They are far superior in quality than any of the other brands I have purchased from, and they're still a great deal too! Yes, their furniture does come in pieces that you need to assemble and it will take you a little time to assemble (it goes a lot faster if you have 2 people to assemble it), but what I love is that they have detailed and clear instructions, all the holes line up where they're supposed to, the drawer glides and door stops are all perfectly in place and function smoothly, I've never been missing any pieces or hardware, and only once in 11 packages of furniture did I have a small amount of damage. Even with that, the customer service was great and they helped me right away! At the end of the day, what you trade in spending a little time assembling it you save a great deal of money and get great furniture that is sturdy and functions great! I also love that they offer so may different types of furniture so that you can have a theme that flows and matches throughout the room and house. I have been so happy with every purchase I have made from them. Oh, and the colors look even better in person than they do online. The white isn't a flat and plain white, it actually has a very pretty and subtle wood grain look to it that I love! I've had lots of compliments about all the furniture I've purchased from them and they are the number one place I look to for any more of my furniture needs now!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: If you're looking for a timeless, high quality piece of furniture that will last decades...keep looking. While the desk is nice looking and does (most of) what a desk should do, it is VERY cheap and I would not attempt to move it to another room for fear of it coming apart. CONS: - Scratches incredibly easily and I already have some damage to corners because the particle board is so soft. The damage seen in pics was done as I was putting it together on a carpeted floor. - People saying it took 1/2 a day are absolutely correct, maybe even longer. - You cannot use hanging files in the handing files drawer because the adjustable bar sits a wee bit too wide. Maybe you could use legal size, but considering the quality of everything else, doubtful. - Drawers don't line up when closed. PROS - Looks nice
