  • Works for my PC
Color: Bluetooth&2.4RF
I use it for typing on my PC when that’s hooked up to the TV instead of at my desk. It works great. Battery lasts forever (I’ve had this thing for 6 months and only charged it when it first came). Touchpad is a little sensitive out of the box, but you can adjust that. It’s not super light where it feels cheap, but it’s not oddly heavy either. ... show more

  • Full fledged bluetooth keyboard with media controls and a multi-touch mousepad for $20? Yep.
I bought this with my own money, nobody asked me to review this, I just wanted to voice my poinion on this! I needed a wireless keyboard and mouse for my PC so I can use it while I'm in my bed, and something with a backlight so I don't have to have a light on to use it. This is it. Don't waste your money on the super-expensive ones that get complicated. Buy this and be done. I had a regular wireless one first, but the backlight didn't work on it so I returned it and bought this one so I could use it on my phone or other bluetooth devices if I wanted to. I was very pleased with the first one I bought and this one is even better yet. Bluetooth connectivity makes it semi-universal, especially if you have a bluetooth USB dongle (doesn't come with it). Rechargable/replaceable battery pack is awesome as well. It even has the usb extension cable wired into the charge cable if you need extra range on your bluetooth dongle. (again, you need to buy a bluetooth dongle separately) Pairing was quick and easy, and the drivers downloaded super fast and installed automatically. with my phone i just paired it and was ready to go. The keys have a nice soft click to them that lets you know you hit them, and with every button youd have on a normal keyboard you pretty much already know where everything is at. standard qwerty layout with the small list of exceptions for the fn keys and a small handful of the symbols. I do wish there was a shift button on the right side of the keypad too, however so i dont have to contort my fingers weird. I've worked around it by toggling the caps lock off and on (which actually pops up on the computer that you turned it off or on which is nice) The backlight isnt blindingly bright and actually almost impossible to see in any sort of lighting, but then again you really only need the backlight when you cant see the keys anyhow, and they all show up perfectly fine when its dark enough you have trouble seeing the print on the keys. Dont expect it to be perfectly even lighting either. I'm not complaining but some people may be dissapointed. The touchpad works surprisingly well and has a side scroll-bar that works well too. One finger mouse control and one finger tap for left click, two finger-scrolling, two-finger tap for center mouse button, three finger tap for right click. My laptop keypad didnt even let me do all that when i had it. You also have three different DPI (sensitivity) settings for the touchpad too. Media controls work well in both Windows and Android (I'll get to android in a minute) as do the other misc. controls (volume, mute, printscreen, etc) I'm not sure if theres a way to make the email and internet button go to custom locations or not but as is they open Outlook and *gulp* Internet Explorer... I wanted to hook this bad boy up to my phone to see how she worked and was immensely surprised. Keypad works great and the media and volume buttons are all functional as well. Now the utter surprise is that when i tapped the touchpad A MOUSE POINTER POPPED UP ON MY PHONE AND I WAS ABLE TO CONTROL IT ALL WITH THE MOUSEPAD!!!! Not expected, fairly impractical, but cool as iced tea on a hot day! Basically, if you want a decent keypad/touchpad "risk" the $20 and get one of these. (My apologies about the shaky-backlit photo I have a hard time keeping my hands still and no-flash camera pictures are hard for me to do) ... show more

  • Great device
Color: Bluetooth&2.4RF
It feels flimsy and had a little trouble connecting it that was my fault for not reading the instructions though. So I got it working and it is so good for how little and light weight it is. The buttons are very clicky which I love very good value for the price!

  • Yeah, you should probably get this.
Well, I'm officially out of the office chair and back on the couch, and the coffee table is back in its original spot where it's busy being a coffee table again instead of a random keyboard holder in the middle of the living room. My back feels better these days, so there's that, too. In fact, I liked most things about this mini keyboard, but am giving it 4 stars because the few issues I have with it aren't that bad, just super-annoying because they stop this product just short of reaching perfection. For instance, I love the way the keyboard fits in my hands and the location of the touchpad. The tactile feedback is great, too. There's some click-clackiness to it that I find charming but may irritate others. One thing that I'm sure will definitely irritate others is the annoying electric blue light bar plastered across the upper left hand side of the keyboard. This light insists on blinding you with every key stroke and you just have to sit there and take it. It's screaming "YOU TOUCHED A KEY!!!!" because apparently we need to know that, but you don't dare electrical tape it because there are times with wireless devices you actually want to know it's transmitting. I'm stuck. I'm hoping in time I'll just get used to it, like I got used to my wife snoring. Yay! Volume keys! That is sooooo valuable if you use your big screen as a monitor for your computer. Also, the blacklight functions sensibly, turning on when you start typing and shutting down when you're not (although they could have made the blacklight key glow in the dark like my cable company remote.) And the range is great so far with no lag issues. Now onto something I don't like for a little balance, this keyboard times out a lot. And there is no key that wakes it up, you have to actually slide the on/off switch. This is only an issue because the whole keyboard doesn't seem that solidly built and the on/off switch even less so. I don't think there are many slides left in that switch, but for 20 dollars I can't complain. All in all I love this thing. If there was no front-facing LED, (putting it on the side would have been better,) and if it had a wake-up key this mini bluetooth keyboard would have been perfect. PS Read the instructions on how to pair the keyboard to the dongle! I thought there would be nothing required of me, like when I pair my phone to my motorcycle helmet, or my phone to my car. This was nothing like that at all, there's actually steps and stuff you gotta do. I was frustrated beyond belief for a half hour trying to figure this thing out and was on my way to the closet to get out the wired keyboard again, when I remembered this keyboard had an instruction booklet and maybe I should read it. It was smooth sailing from there with just a minor hiccup when I followed the instructions for the wrong operating system. Buy this. ... show more
