Description

It began with iPhone. Then came iPod touch. Then MacBook Pro. Intuitive, smart, dynamic. Multi-Touch technology introduced a remarkably better way to interact with your portable devices - all using gestures. Now we've reached another milestone by bringing gestures to the desktop with a mouse that's unlike anything ever before. It's called Magic Mouse. It's the world's first Multi-Touch mouse. And while it comes standard with every new iMac, you can also add it to any Bluetooth-enabled Mac for a Multi-Touch makeover. What's in the box: Apple Magic Mouse. Quick Set-Up Guide: goo.gl/ImVBHM If your mouse or trackpad doesn't track as expected Apple Wireless Mouse, Magic Mouse, and Magic Mouse 2 can be used on most smooth surfaces; however, if tracking issues occur, try these options: Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then select Mouse. Set the Tracking slider to adjust how fast the pointer moves as you move the mouse. Try using a different surface to see if the tracking improves. Turn the mouse over and inspect the sensor window. Use compressed air to gently clean the sensor window if dust or debris is present. If multiple Bluetooth wireless devices are in use nearby, try turning them off one at a time to see if the issue improves. Bandwidth intensive devices can affect tracking.

  • Easy Peasy
I guess you can call me the mouse king. I have used most every mouse on the market, but only kept a select few. I had own laser mice in the past, but nothing like this. this is easier to use then a thumb mouse, ball mouse, and a track pad pro. Plus its a satellite. Nothing to connect just add the batteries and sync, and away you go. Mostly what detoured me in the past from buying this was it single button use. I liked mice with a left button , wheel, middle button, and a right button. This how i have all my mice setup, Hey i just got this mouse and so far its easy to use, easy to setup. So that is why i gave the review that i did. Only problem are the batteries. But hey if the last long, and turns out not to be a head ache like all batteries are, then yes i'll be happy. Now if the batteries do turn out to be a head ache, then i'll go back to using my track pad pro, that is wired to the mac via. usb, and connected the same way as this magic mouse. My only complaint outside the use of batteries, it the price of apple products. ... show more

  • It arrived better than I expected
In my opinion this is the mouse that works the best for my needs. It was affordable and basically brand new.

  • fire hazard!!
I gave this mouse to my sister for her birthday. She used it about 10 times. It then stopped working, so she put new batteries in it. It became overheated so she is worried it will catch fire. I am very frustrated because we just passed the 90 day return window. I have always purchased refurbished Apple items but this was a disappointment. ... show more

  • Not quite what I expected
Okay, the mouse I got was a generation 1 Magic Mouse. The product came wrapped and after slapping a battery into it I was ready to pair it to my refurbished Mac mini (2012 model). I got this and the Magic Keyboard generation 2 (my guess because it has an integrated battery vs taking batteries like my old one) at the same time I got the keyboard because I am poor and my Chromebook died. I thought getting an old Mac mini would work. I booted the computer and turned on the mouse and it didn’t recognize it. I plugged the keyboard in and it work for pairing. This mouse does not have a built in battery, so couldn’t plug it in. I used an old mouse for setup, so if you only have one good luck the setup to my non-Mac computer using mind could not figure out how to just use the keyboard. After setup I was able to pair this mouse and use it, but when I turned it off after getting on a Google Meets call with my RPG friends it was not recognized by the computer as being connected. I used the other mouse to connect it again and it worked fine. When I turned on the keyboard it recognized it right away, so I am guessing it is a problem with the mouse. It happened again after turning off the computer for the night and both the mouse and keyboard. Next day keyboard worked mouse didn’t. I just ordered a new Magic Mouse rather than a refurbished one. With this one I will use it with my iPad and my Magic Keyboard 1 that is also battery fed, so if the mouse has problems again I can use my touch screen to repair it to the device. The Mac mini does not have a touch screen because it is hooked to an old monitor. The mouse works great when it is paired, but you have to pair it each time because the device doesn’t just remember it, but it does remember the keyboard. ... show more

  • It works!
My iMac is a Late 2013. I purchased refurbished from Apple and works like charm. However the mouse quit working. I had no idea it would be so hard to replace. But thank you Amazon had a refurbished one I purchased and it works great.
