Set the Tracking slider to adjust how fast the pointer moves as you move the mouse. Try using a different surface to see if the tracking improves. Turn the mouse over and inspect the sensor window. Use compressed air to gently clean the sensor window if dust or debris is present. If multiple Bluetooth wireless devices are in use nearby, try turning them off one at a time to see if the issue improves. Bandwidth intensive devices can affect tracking.

It works perfectly, but it is used. I’m not sure if it’s refurbished. There are scratches on the top, and the name of the connected device is even listed as "Tim’s Office Mouse."

    • Great replacement mouse for my ancient IMAC
Realized that my sometimes working mouse needed replacement and was happy to find them available used on Amazon! You will need to navigate to the mouse setup screen with your old mouse if possible, but i think the kybd only can do it. Then turn old mouse off. Turn on the replacement mouse and it’s name will show below your existing mouse. Use the kybd enter key to select it and the mouse will be setup. This seems brand new, but it is used. I guess you can call me the mouse king. I have used most every mouse on the market, but only kept a select few. I had own laser mice in the past, but nothing like this. this is easier to use then a thumb mouse, ball mouse, and a track pad pro. Plus its a satellite. Nothing to connect just add the batteries and sync, and away you go. Mostly what detoured me in the past from buying this was it single button use. I liked mice with a left button , wheel, middle button, and a right button. This how i have all my mice setup, Hey i just got this mouse and so far its easy to use, easy to setup. So that is why i gave the review that i did. Only problem are the batteries. But hey if the last long, and turns out not to be a head ache like all batteries are, then yes i'll be happy. Now if the batteries do turn out to be a head ache, then i'll go back to using my track pad pro, that is wired to the mac via. usb, and connected the same way as this magic mouse. My only complaint outside the use of batteries, it the price of apple products. ... show more

Quality Rating: 3/5 Based on price: 4/5 Time with Product: 4 years (purchased in 2017) Review: I have had this mouse for 4 years and I stopped using it 3 years ago. I still have it lying on my shelf. You see it started off great and worked perfectly. However, after 6 months-year, it began malfunctioning. If I held it slightly up it would disconnect from my MacBook Pro. That literally made it unusable. I cannot tolerate sudden bluetooth disconnections. Therefore, I stopped using it. Simple. When it did work, it was phenomenal and it really is good apple product. I just wouldn't trust to buy it renewed from anywhere. Please do yourself a favor and purchase it new from Apple or Amazon. The investment is much more worth it, and you can garuntee that there wasn't someone else who used it before and ruined it or broke it without you realizing it. Not even that, but technology dies with time by itself. It essentially denatures. Therefore, I would recommend you buy it new so that you can take full advantage of its life expectancy before it dies and begins to malfunctions on you. Thank you for reading my review!
