Got the black plates with vent holes for the ps5 slim. It does a great job of cooling the system fast and looks way better than the white standard plates. The plate for the disc drive was slightly tricky to get on but after I got it figured out it was a great fit and look. I definitely recommend these plates as they seem pretty good quality for a fraction of the price of official ones.

I got a case from another seller thru Amazon. Sooooo disappointed. The cover didn’t fit no matter how hard I tried. Returned it, and tried a different seller. This case arrived two days later. Extremely satisfied!!! This cover fit perfectly. It was kinda odd at first. The cover comes in two plates, not four like what I removed from the PS5 slim. I thought I ordered the wrong one. Nope. That’s the design. It took less than a minute to install. Very pleased with the result. The vents do seem to make a difference with the overall heat coming from my PS5 slim. But the appearance is such a big improvement over its intended design. I can’t say enough about it. I do wish the included instructions were a bit more precise. It’s just a few diagrams on a small sheet of paper. But it went together so easy they’re not even necessary. I’ve already shown pics to my friends and recommended the covers. Will definitely buy from them again if I ever intend to change the color. The included pic does not do it justice. I should’ve made a video but was excited to put them on. My bedroom is black so the original white really messed up the aesthetic. SMH.

Love the design of the cover!! The fact that it has vent covers so that your console will not overheat is cool!!! Very affordable and the color options are decent, very durable and easy to install!!!

I’m not a huge fan of gold but my son thinks it’s cool. It was much easier to put together than the controller gold plating. Not a perfect fit but pretty close and looks great overall.

I got this just to change up the look of my PS5 a little and like the look. My only problem is that there is no eject button on the disc tray. It makes you have to do it remotely. That was the only reason why it got 4/5 stars.

After trying several different plates and all of them not fitting over the disc drive, I ordered this one to give it one more try. I was so happy to pop it right on, no issues whatsoever so ever. Felt just like the factory plates. Now my son will wake up on Christmas to a gold PS5 like he asked.

As mentioned above, the added vents help airflow a lot! The surface feels very nice. The aesthetic is sleek and less flashy. Made me believe it was quality plastic for the great price point. The clips lined up exactly where they should for the PS5 “slim” BUT upon installation, some clips broke immediately so now the panels are hanging off the backside. If you feel any resistance beyond a gentle push, just stop, you will break it. It was a bit of a let down but personally I will be looking at other competitor plates.
