I love the Venture shoes. Tried so many different shoes. I’d give it 5 stars if it came with better laces. I like the fact that the older models are made to last much longer, there’s more toe protection and the soles have more coverage than the newer shoes. I run on off road with them. I run on a highway in Hawaii that has a shoulder and than gravel and dirt so I try to get off the pavement on the dirt and gravel when I can. I love these shoes. I like a sturdy shoe that would last for training runs. Than when I race with a lighter shoe it feel so light. I need my running shoe laces tight in the arch area for good arch support and looser in the toe and ankle area so my foot can bend while running. The laces they came with were too thin to tighten where I needed them to tighten. I bought them once before last year but returned them for that reason and bought the Venture 6. Went to replace the 6 and I saw these again at a really good price so I tried them again and decided to try them with different laces and it made a big difference on the fit.

I dont normally write reviews on stuff I buy (because I often forget), but this shoe deserves the time to write a review. My knees and ankles were BEGGING me for some comfort after running in poorly designed shoes for a few weeks, while working up my stamina as I get back into a workout routine. Let me tell you, the moment I started jogging in these shoes, there was not a single second of aching, or throbbing, or jolting while I was running. For the first part of my run, I was actually so comfortable and zoned out that I was surprised to look down and realize a whole 10 minutes had already passed. If you're looking for a shoe with GREAT arch support and remarkable cushion for your joints, this is it.

I have been wearing this style of shoe for the last 3+ years. They are my main sneaker and I love them. They could do with a little more arch support for my personal foot shape, but they are really comfortable. My last pair are over two years old and while other sneakers have worn out in the back of the heel before even getting that old, these are still holding strong! The tread is still in great condition, too, and outside of winter, it's the shoe I wear most of the time.

I e been a fan of Asics but this style doesn't really work for me. The shoes are light, the arch support is missing and I feel like the cushion is at the bare minimum. I can still walk all day, but I'll feel it the following day when I couldn't with some of the previous generations shoes. I hope the next time they revamp their shoes they go back to styles that work.

I did have to go a half size up. I usually wear 7.5-8 depending on the style/brand. I went with 8 after reading reviews, but had to exchange for an 8.5. I wore them at Disneyland for two days, and I don't think it matters what shoe you were with that much walking, you're gonna be sore lol. But overall, they were comfortable and did the job. I wasn't sore after the first day, just after the second day. But it was 12+ hours of being there both days. I broke them in for about a week before and they were always comfortable then too.

I normally dont write reviews, however i would like to express my opinion on how comfortable these shoes are! They are lightweight and feel very durable. I bought these to work out in and also go hiking, the bottoms of the shoes have excellent tread and i feel safe hiking mountains in these! I would also like to mention how cute these shoes are and i love the colors of these sneakers! Blue and pink are my absolute favorite colors! Definitely will be my go to pair of shoes this summer especially for Busch Gardens trips!

Asics are the best shoes for me at a good price. Getting a half size larger works good for me because Asics seems to run a little smaller. Have both the Asics Venture 8 and Asics GEL-CUMULUS, both feel very comfortable and supportive on my feet. Finding a shoe that fits my troubled feet has been a journey. Asics seems to be well made because of their attention to the detail and attention to the needs of different individuals from plantar fasciitis to a specialized sport's shoe. I am happy to finally be comfortable. In my journey to comfortable shoes, Brooks Ghost 15 also made it to the top of my list.

I already had a pair of these purchased on Amazon over 6 months ago. Those shoes are perfect, but a bit garish (colors) I wanted the black and silver to wear to school (I am a teacher). Reading the revews, I was worried about the size/fit being different. They are ever so slightly different in shape, but still a good fit. If you are concerned, I would go up a size, but for me, they are great!
