It’s a very good product and I like that you have different possibilities to open it. The fingerprint system has sometimes difficulties to recognize the fingerprints. I wish the auto lock has the possibility to lock the smart lock also later than only 900 sec. But it works fine. I have various smart locks but have to say that this is the best in my opinion. I had to change the lock from one door to another and I lost one of the 3 studs going thru the door and the drive spindle and had to switch the direction of the handles. Wrote to Smonet and ask for help. I am impressed with the speed, efficiency and kindness with their after sales support. A person was sending me the missing parts (my fault to loose them) immediately free of charged and explained to me how to change the direction of the handles. Great service. People are saying that the first sale with a customer is done by the Sales Department and the next ones by the Aftersale Department. Is that true. ... show more

Bought the lock for a guest house business in September 18, 2022 and finally got it installed on October 6, 2022. The lock worked phenomenally! I even was operating it by remotely setting up passcodes and locking/unlocking it remotely from 2 states away (nearly 900 miles!) Then came a concern...when one of my guests attempted to unlock the door using the keypad passcode...the batteries would drop significant power...like 10-20% power. As you might guess, on zero, they can't get into their home-away-from-home because the door battery died (or at least showed dead). That is a key point because when I replaced the 4 AA batteries, the 4 I pulled out were not bad! That's where Alex from Tech Support came into the picture. First off...he promised me a replacement lock right off the cuff if we can't get this one in working order. Immediate plus because it made me feel there was no "skimping" on product quality control...they were willing to ship me another to make it right. So, we started off troubleshooting this one. He walked me through some steps to troubleshoot the potential problem. Once I got past my personal operator error delays...his diagnosis was spot-on!! The lock calibrated back to 100% (since I just replaced my batteries with new ones the day before). I ran a series of lock/unlock tests...no immediate drop in the power indicator like it was 30 minutes prior to the fix. It's been over an hour since the fix and it's still showing 100%. Bottomline...great tech support. Alex was very patient with me and walked me through the steps very effectively. Major kudos to Alex!! As for the lock...super pleased with it. Believe me, if it didn't serve the purpose effectively and with quality...I wouldn't say much...if you don't have something good to say, don't say anything philosophy. I got this thing, because my roommate left my house one morning when I was working 12+ hour shifts during the day and he left with the door unlocked and the house unattended without the dogs inside as well for 8+ hours and we live in a bad neighborhood. I went back on my surveillance videos to see when he left and if he ever came back, but never did. It really upset me, so I decided to sock my money into it as soon as possible. This was the only one I saw that would work great for what price it has. It was easy to install, took a minute to drill the extra hole for the screw to go in, but other than that, it was quick and easy to install. I haven't done any water resistance testing on it, so I will test that out eventually. After installing and getting it powered on, I was able to install everything on this smart lock easily and set a pin code on the lock for when we can't access with our finger prints. It's pretty secured, due to the fact that once set up on your account, no one can create an account and try gaining access to your lock. I've tested this on my roommates phone and sure enough it gave no access without my account. I also love the fact that instead of normal 4 pin code, you can go up to an 8 pin code for better security. I also want to test out how easy it is to lock pick this smart lock, so I'm going to refer it to a lock picker that specializes in difficult locks to see if the door lock will go into emergency lock mode to keep anyone from gaining access. This listing didn't give much detail to what all comes with this smart lock, but at least I know it comes with 2 smart keys and 3 regular keys in case the batteries died on the lock. I'm also happy that if I have a repair guy come to my house or friends or family come by to visit the house for a few days or so, I can set them up with the finger print access for temporary use for the time frame of how long they will be staying at the house. It also works out too, because my roommate goes to school, or when he is back to work and we both aren't home, but need someone to take care of our dogs, we can have someone in his family to come over to get access to the house to take care of the dogs. Overall, I'm satisfied of this system. It's fully metal and seems like there is no way anyone can tamper with this lock with any type of prying tools. I'm glad I got this. Now I don't have to worry about anyone actually gaining access to my house without permission while no one is either home or not. ... show more
