I purchased this laptop in August of 2022 to use for automotive programming. I did not realized until after I had already installed all my software and had it all set up that the unit was not even touch screen as described. I spent many hours working through possible solutions via bios settings and firmware updates only to determine it just wasn't a touch screen model. I wish I had sent it back at that time but had already installed software and needed the laptop for work immediately. The laptop was only used for a couple programs and only a few times a month at most. As of November 2023 the laptop quit working completely due to a "TPM not detected" error and is unable to even get into Windows. I regret purchasing a laptop from this seller. ... show more

The laptop has a number of issues. When I first bought it it only went a few days before Bitlocker recovery popped up and took me through a reboot cycle easily over 20 times. Called Dell, went through a few basic troubleshooting items. They told me the motherboard had to be replaced. I kept rebooting it in different ways and trying to different methods I found online until it finally worked (still not sure what I did differently). A few months later after normal use, I opened it and the screen hinges stuck and popped out the plastic display case which made it impossible to open or close without causing further damage. A friend and I both bought this laptop for an Army deployment and had the same issue within two weeks of one another. It is clearly a hardware defect and it should be fixed. ... show more
