It's rare for me to go with 5 stars because it's rare for an item to actually exceed my expectations, especially when it's a referb/renew item. I can't find a blemish on the thing so appearance is like new. I went through some unsupported options and paired my 1st gen pencil and it worked exactly as expected. I was waiting for my 2nd gen to before leaving a review. As expected the 2nd gen paired seamlessly but I am very pleased at the level of control gained. Battery life is what I would expect out of a new device. I use the device mostly for art so I've got the brightness up pretty high and I can go a couple of days on a single charge, even when I throw in a few hours of surfing and gaming. I highly recommend the unit and the seller. I registered the device shortly after it arrived and they were quick to reach out and make sure that I'm happy with my purchase. I didn't have anything negative to tell them, but I had the sense that if I had they would've been on top of things to get it straight. I bought this renewed 12.9-inch iPad Pro because I didn’t need the latest and greatest model for my DJ setup, but I did want the larger screen and plenty of storage. Compared with the cost of a brand-new Pro, this was a much better fit for what I needed. I chose the “Very Good” renewed condition, but when I opened the box it honestly looked brand new. I couldn’t find a mark anywhere on it. After using it for a couple of days, I started having some USB connection issues and initially thought the iPad’s USB-C port might be the problem. I contacted the seller, and their response was excellent. They replied quickly, walked me through some troubleshooting, and when that didn’t immediately resolve it, they simply offered to replace the iPad. I had a gig coming up, so I used it for the weekend and decided to try one more thing before sending it back. I upgraded both my USB-C cable and hub, and that completely solved the problem. The iPad has worked perfectly ever since, so there was no need to replace it. I contacted the seller again to let them know everything was working, and they responded that if I had any further issues to contact them because the iPad was covered by a one-year warranty. Between the condition of the iPad, the savings compared with buying new, and the excellent customer service, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. I was interested in getting another tablet after my brother lost my samsung a9+ tablet on a trip overseas. I didn't want to pay full price for a new m5 ipad pro nor did I want to pay full price for a new mid range regular iPad. So i started researching for the perfect renewed tablet that was both a beast yet very reasonably priced. I was able to settle on this m1 ipad pro 12.9 inch for its sheer size, build quality, and impressive chip. This M1 is vasty more powerful than the a16 in the new ipad for the same price, the screen is superior with its 120 refresh rate and the build quality is phenomenal. Its not my first iPad, infact I had the very first iPad presented by Steve Jobs in 2010 for my freshman year of college. And its amazing to see how far the iPad has come from a simple novelty tool for browsing, notes and occasion videos to a full fledged powerhouse. I paid around 430 for mine, originally ordered in acceptable condition with 12.9 inches, 256gb, and wifi and I was pleased to be greeted by a wifi+cellular version instead. Neat. The device is fast, handles all my apps, and was a breeze to set up with my iphone 17 pro max. Its neat how I have a little apple ecosystem going now with this ipad pro m1, iphone 17, and my m4 macbook air. Overall I really enjoy the device, I use it frequently in the gym to read on the treadmill or watch content, and sometimes even play games. It makes working out fun. 5/5. ... show more

Paid For Apples But Was Sold Lemons

We bought an iPad Pro 5th Gen 2TB with free shipping in supposedly ‘Excellent’ condition from Chrome Source on August 3rd. It was FedEx overnighted to us, needed a signature, and was dead on arrival. That was our first clue that something was very wrong. The second red flag was that it had a screen protector installed on it, but since we don’t use screen protectors we removed it only to discover it had LOTS of visible scratches all over the screen. After doing a little internet research, we found out that installing a screen protector on a device with screen scratches is a known way to hide those scratches. The third problem was that its usb c port was loose and could only be charged in one direction. The fourth problem was its battery was so weak that it drained to 70% in less than an hour with minimal use. Another major clue that we were being baited was that we ordered a unit with WiFi only, yet it came with WiFi + Cellular! That’s not going to fix the fact that the battery is near its end of life. 
 We’re extremely upset with these obvious scam tactics and only hope that this review will help other potential buyers beware of these problems and tricks used to sell iPad Pros listed as Excellent but are actually in very unacceptable condition. We were only given a refund after getting Amazon involved which was over a week after we returned the unit. Chrome Source dragged their feet and only communicated with two canned responses. We were put out big time by them and now can’t even find an available iPad Pro 2TB from any seller that’s in excellent condition. UPDATE: so we tried again and bought an iPad Pro 5th Gen 1TB from Chrome Source believing that they would do us right this time. Although it came with no scratches, it completely crashed every few hours from simply watching YouTube videos. Our guess is that its GPU is old and on its way out. So we returned it and will never buy from them again. The amount of wasted time and stress Crome Source has caused us is impossible to put into words. What they’re doing is using a known tactic called ‘selective scamming’. If you see an iPad Pro listed in excellent condition for an unbelievably low price, it’s probably a lemon. ... show more

We love this refurbished iPad. It works perfectly and looks just beautiful -- no damage of any kind that we can see. It actually looks like it was perhaps never used (though it does have a protective vinyl covering on the back, that might have been added after it was turned in... but we would want something like that anyway to add a bit of protection). For the cost savings, this is the perfect option for us. A new one with a 2TB drive (to hold our libraries of both ePub books, and music) would have cost SO much more. ... show more

Initial impression good

This is a difficult review to write. The product arrived on time and appeared to be in excellent condition, no discernible scratches, battery life was OK, the charging block did not work well with the iPad so needed a higher wattage one. Overall the unit was responsive and worked well for a couple of weeks. Then whilst watching YouTube, had 30% battery life remaining the unit shutdown. Then on restart I went into a boot loop. I put it on charge and waited. No improvement. I tried software update using different computers and USB cables. Eventually got factory reset. Set it up again, worked well. Tried to restart, but it back in boot loop. Thankfully this is within the first month, so able to return ... show more

This renewed product exceeds my expectations

I was hesitant, but it is so hard to find an M1 iPad elsewhere without an inherent risk, so I took a chance here as I figured my odds of remediation were greater than, let's say a private listing. Major resellers of used Apple products do not seem to get these often, and if they do, they seem to be the first to go because i would not see them, and I checked these sellers a few times per week. I believe the M1 IPads are popular because they are still a great tablet for nearly half of what they cost when they were new. It did take a few weeks to get, but it was clearly communicated on the listing and at the time of purchase. It actually came a few days earlier than the projected delivery date of 9/5/25. Well, I say it was well worth the wait as this renewed product exceeds my expectations. It came well packaged in a generic box seemingly designed to transport tablets. The iPad itself was also encased in a thin plastic material that was made specifically for the iPad, so it had this professional, "new" factory look. It is assumed this material protected against scratches during handling and shipping. Upon peeling away the plasting material, there were a couple of small spots where it appears adhesive remained from stickers and photo lens protectors. It was minimal, but I noticed it as I carefully inspected the product for quality. The adhesive was easily wiped away with a little Windex window cleaner. The tablet looks brand new. There are no discernable scratches on the case or the screen, no dents, or other markings for that matter. The battery only had 1% life left, so I had to plug it in using the included 3' USB-C to USB-C cable. I let it charge overnight and set it up the following day. No problems. It looks and works like new. Great battery life too. I am not sure anyone really used it, that is how good it looks and operates. Definitely very, very pleased. Thank you! ... show more
