4/27/2019 Received product timely with Amazon Prime. I plugged in my new laptop, a very sweet voice came thru the speakers and literally walked me thru each step. It was seamless and did not take long, I did not purchase this for gaming so I cannot provide a commend. I recommend for gamers to purchase a gaming laptop if that is your need. The price is within my budget. Yes the touch screen works!! I did not have to do anything except gently lay my index finger on the screen and give it a little swipe, nice touch. I set the screen brightness down a little for my comfort level and to save my eyes. Images and verbiage are sharp. The sound is clear and the volume can be turned up quite high. I downloaded Chrome as my browser as no need for "Edge". Good screen size, reasonably light as far as weight. I wanted a laptop with a DVD player, I inserted a back up disc from a prior software purchase and downloaded Microsoft Office 2016 (I don't care for Office 365, personal preference). It did not take long to download the entire Office 2016 it works great and does not slow my laptop down. I had an HP prior and was pleased it was time to upgrade thus the reason for this purchase. I do not watch movies so I can not share this experience, however when viewing You Tube videos, pics and sound are good and do not lag (I have high speed Internet). I did not install additional virus protection as what it comes with is sufficient but that is your option if you want to. I needed a ten key numerical key pad on the left of the keyboard and this product provided it. The only downfall so far is the keys are not back lit. Good price for what I got. I am able to create multiple and huge spreadsheets in excel with no issues. l recommend this product to others. ... show more

I mainly use this for school work. But it has good graphics and the touchscreen works great. It is decently fast and I love it has 2tb of storage. It was a great buy for the money. It saved me over 400 dollars and was better than some of the options at Best buy or Walmart. I wasn't looking for a gaming computer so this does everything I need it to do and then some. ... show more

This is a pretty good laptop and does have all the specs described in the product listing. However, the problem is that the listing is intentionally vague when it comes to giving out the laptop's model number. The listing says, "Item Model Number: HP PAVILION 15.6 TOUCH I5", however as anyone knows who bothered to Google the term, this is not a real model number. This laptop's model number is actually 15-bs095ms and I encourage everyone to search Amazon and Google before buying. That way you can be sure you're getting the best prices. Right now (1/25/2018) there are other Amazon listings for this same laptop which are cheaper. ... show more

    • price jumps everywhere, but its a good computer.
could have a better graphics card, but frankly its not a bad pc. about two weeks in and nothing to complain about the memory is NOT 2 tb. it's sata memory so it's only 1.8tb. regardless for the price its a great deal. I hope to make this computer last at least 7 years, i think it can do it if you take care of it and organize properly. I bought this computer for 477, about two days later i see it listed for 450, then the next day I see it listed at 495 with a bundle that comes with a mouse and bag for only 450. a bit confusing but I feel like i was looking at a different computer even though everything was listed the same. ... show more

I haven't had a chance to fully utilize this laptop yet, however, it has great processing speed and graphics. I chose this particular model for speed and graphics and the storage!!! It would have been better if the 2T storage would have been formatted to 4 equal partitions though. Do you realize how long it takes to do a disk defrag on 2T? That's crazy. Next time you sell one of these, you should have an option for the customer to select partition my HDD or do not partition my HDD. ... show more

    • Computer is slow and HP representatives are rude and refuse to acknowledge this as a problem.
From the start, this computer was running very slow. It has 100% disc usage with no programs running. Opening and running a program will slow it down and make even using Office products a pain. I have not installed anything but Microsoft Office 365 and and Adobe Suite. Working with HP technical support for 10 months now (Win10 re-installation, driver and bios updates) has not helped. Neither the seller nor customer support were helpful. The HP technical customer support even admitted that their products cannot handle Win10 with a normal hard drive, but likely require an SSD. Yet, they sell their products with exactly those specs. ... show more

Compared to my outdated Asus 551, this computer feels slower and built with less quality. Nevertheless the price is right for what you get (bought used- new like) If I had paid the full price I would have been disappointed. Update : today it updated. Its been 20 minutes and still updating windows 10, and showing only 5% progress. I read on Previous reviews this computer does this . Hopefully it won’t crash like some reviews warn about this exact same issue. It took an hour and a half. However it’s working properly. No need to fear and sudden crashes. To sum up , its right for its price. Almost a year since i purchased this laptop. I'm now used to it's basic display formats. It works at a reasonable speed. The laptop is perfect big for my small hand but it gets the job done Im used to a mac but what Mac is good for media use not for work work im don't have to spend money on apps that I need you can just download them set was very simple if you had a mac you would be happy with this laptop
