  • Great little generator for emergencies! Awesome build quality! Great little generator for emergencies! Awesome build quality!
OK, so I'm running this generator up here in the mountains at 9,000 feet elevation without an altitude kit for the carb, so I'm running at a lower power output. I have a couple generators like this, one is a 2400 watt, the other a 2300 watt, so this is pretty much equivalent. I use this to run into a DC power supply, then the power supply cleans up the power and runs it into my Bluetti AC200L which in turns powers 8 full size freezers. I also have a dozen solar panels on this system. With a small gas generator along with my solar panels I can run all eight freezers on this hybrid solar/gas system for nearly a whole month with about 35 gallons of gas running the gas generator about 4 hours a day. We have frequent power outages, sometimes for a week or more at a time, so a generator like this is gold up here and you need at least one or two as a backup. When comparing this generator to my other two I have to say that the build quality of this one is much better. The dial that sets the throttle clicks into place on this one, so you know where you are at on the dial. I love that it has a gas gauge, one of my other ones doesn't have this and I have to say it simplifies things so much knowing how much gas is in the tank. When I pulled the side cover off I was impressed with the layout, everything is easy to get to, including the air filter, very good engineering. Everything on this generator just feels like it's a higher quality than most. Removing the top cover for spark plug access was easy, but I struggled to get the plug wire off. I finally figured out a regular pliers does the trick. The plug was gapped properly at the factory to 0.028. There was a bunch of oil on the plug from the factory, I sprayed it off with starting fluid, filled the generator with oil, soaked the sponge air cleaner with oil and squeezed it dry with paper towels, put it all together and fired it up. It started on the fifth pull, and starts on the first pull after that. I did have a few problems, my first attempt at running at 1000 watts triggered the overload / limp mode on the generator. My other two generators do fine at 1,000 watts so I was surprised and a bit disappointed in this. Usually I set my DC power supply at 13.2 amps, 80 watts = 1056 watts. On the bluetti it comes in just under 1,000 watts due to minimal losses in the lines. However, this generator doesn't seem to be able to handle that load for more than about 20 minutes before going into limp mode. So I dialed down the DC generator to pull 12 amps and 80 volts = 960 watts, it's showing up on the bluetti at about 870-890 watts. So far it's been running for hours at this draw. So for long term hours of run time, it looks like I'm down about 100 watts compared to my other two generators, although an altitude kit on the carb would for sure fix this issue. I did have a couple CO carbon monoxide shut downs, apparently I had the generator too close to my big camper (no one was in the camper). I moved the generator out a bit away from all structures and so far It's running strong. Out of the three generators I have, this one runs the smoothest, not much throttle variation, which is primarily due to the high altitude I'm guessing. The manufacturer says they have a high altitude kit but I have yet to locate one. I also had another shut down glitch where the generator turned off and refused to start with multiple pulls. I finally figured out that I had the gas cap vent closed LOL. User error! This causes a vacuum in the gas tank and will stop the gas flow to the engine. Overall it's a great little generator, just keep in mind that you lose significant power at high altitude, especially up here at 9000 feet. You can expect about 900 watts running long term (hours), more if you run it only for a few minutes at a time. Also, the high altitude kit will let you run longer at higher wattages too, with that kit I could probably bring it up to 1000 or maybe even 1200 watts, but at high altitude don't expect much more than that. Also keep in mind that larger generators drink way more gas and there's a trade off. I also have a 12,000 watt generator and can turn my DC generator up to 1500 watts, but that big generator drinks a gallon of gas every hour, this one will go for probably four hours on a gallon of gas, so much more economical. I think you would even have a loss of efficiency if you went up to the 3500 watt generator compared to this one for my application. One other think I like about this generator is that it has a reset button on the front. So when it goes into limp mode you don't have to turn it off and pull start it again, you can just hit the reset button. Overall this is a great little generator, a lifeline for keeping your food cold during power outages, and an essential piece of hardware for mountain living. This one is light, portable, easy to start and runs a long time on a tank of gas. ... show more

  • Compact, Quiet, and Perfect for RV Trips! Compact, Quiet, and Perfect for RV Trips!
This little generator is a game-changer for our family camping and RV trips! Weighing in at just under 40 lbs, it’s super easy to carry with the built-in handle—no more struggling with heavy generators. It runs surprisingly quiet (way better than our old gas generator) and the 2000W peak power easily runs our RV’s AC, mini fridge, and phone/tablet chargers all at once. The CO sensor and low-oil shutdown give me peace of mind for using it around the kids, and the RV-ready outlet is a nice touch for quick hookups. Assembly was a breeze, and all the included accessories (oil funnel, spark plug) make maintenance simple. Highly recommend for anyone needing a portable, reliable power source for outdoor adventures! ... show more

  • Unbeatable Value—Quiet, Portable, and Feature-Packed!
As a hobbyist with a small backyard workshop, I needed a portable generator for my power tools (drill, sander, circular saw), and this All-Power 2000W model is perfect! It’s lightweight enough to move around the yard, and the 1800W rated power handles all my 120V tools with no lag—even when starting up my circular saw (which has a high startup wattage). The ECO mode saves fuel when I’m using lower-watt tools, and the multiple outlets (3 AC 120V + 2 USB) mean I can plug in multiple tools/chargers at once. I love that it’s EPA compliant and has all the safety features (low-oil shutdown, overload protection) — no need to worry about accidental damage. It runs quiet enough that I can work without ear protection, and the parallel capability is a nice bonus for when I might need more power later (just add a second one!). The only small con is the fuel tank is a bit small, but the run time is still impressive for its size. Overall, an excellent generator for light professional/DIY use—highly recommend! ... show more
